  6. Here's the best message left about the Bacon Explosion that I wound. "i feel bad for all the jews, muslums, and vegeterirans who can’t taste this beef masterpeice."
  7. From the article, "For most people at the concert, they were there to enjoy the entire group perform, but for Tech. Sgt. Patrika Boone, there was a second motive. Her husband, Staff Sgt. Wendell Boone Jr., is one of the vocalists in the Tops In Blue team. He was also on the Tops In Blue team during the 2007 tour, but his wife never had the chance to see him perform because she was deployed at the time. It was like a dream come true when she learned her husband would be here. "It is amazing to see him perform," she said. "We have not seen each other since March. Seeing him here is a blessing." You know they hooked up somewhere in Manas in order to get a little AOR love.........TIB + AOR love =
  8. I personally wore them a few times right before the last deployment. Now, granted I wore them to break in my new desert boots, and after that, they went into the bottom of my bag not to be seen again unless there is a dire emergency, but that's just me.
  9. Can't imagine how thsi one could fail.... https://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,531940,00.html?mrp Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, is lining up the King of Pop's children for a world tour as The Jackson Three — despite family members accusing him of trying to "exploit them like Jacko." Former Jackson Five manager Joe is said to have approached Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year old Prince Michael II — known as Blanket — to hit the stage next year. But one of Jacko's familymembers is said to be "livid" at the scheme, which will add fuel to the bitter custody battle for the youngsters. Jackson’s biographer Ian Halperin said yesterday: "Joe wants the children to go on a world tour in 2010. He has also already offered recording contracts to two of Michael’s kids. Now he is talking about getting them the world’s best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three." Halperin said yesterday his source for the allegations is extremely close to the family and may soon speak out publicly — out of concern for the future of the youngsters. He told The Sun: "One of the family members is livid. He is saying Joe seems intent to do this no matter what. “He wants to exploit the kids the same way he did Michael." Jacko has claimed former boxer Joe Jackson beat him as a child — and the fear of him made him "regurgitate." Sister La Toya has also told of the "constant threat of violence" that Joe Jackson imposed on his children.
  10. Thanks. Just curious. Didn't know Dash, but from what everyone has said, he was sh!t hot and Top Notch.
  11. RIP Dash. Any news on the investigation?
  12. Spill it without telling who you are.........we're all waiting.
  13. OK, let me remove the fun and ask for @$$pain stories.
  14. I totally agree, although I have to say Tuck Fexas instead of the cajun junk posted above. TUCK FEXAS!
  15. Back on track. Anyone else got any fun stories about Fun Burglar?
  16. I personally take the shoulder harnesses off for long periods of cruise (read over 1.5 hours) and make sure that as we even start to talk about the descent, they're on and ready to go. I use the same rule both deployed and at home station, and have never been questioned on it. But then again, when you're on a checkride, when was the last time you cruised at altitude for more than 1.5? Just my 2 cents worth as a Pilot
  17. Anyone who knew McDonald or was around him for any length of time heard about the "Christmas Party I put together at Dyess" And the moral of that story is that Col Mac needed a sponser when he got done with AWC in order to find his next assignment as an O-6. Well, he just happened to find the old WG/CC (can't remember if that's right) from Dyess when he threw the Christmas party and secured his follow on assignement. Long story short is that the party was FW&A at the highest levels (although at the time was probably looked at as a great job). This is his only story of leadership that he can recite and only went to show me that his merit was based on when he was an O-3 and the fact that he threw a good party. Peter Principle in the fullest effect with this bag of trash.
  18. Good things come in small packages........and by good I mean great things for Pope. Lucky.....thanks for the rumor mill.......great fodder.....and apparently very true.
  19. Ban him now before we all SPam his email with gay porn. Edit for spelling.
  20. Aboard ship, the regularly assigned commanding officer is addressed as “captain” regardless of grade. The only proper response to an oral order is “Aye, aye, sir/ma’am.” This reply means more than yes. It indicates “I understand and will obey.” Such responses to an order as “O.K., sir” or “All right, sir” are taboo. “Very well” is proper when spoken by a senior in acknowledgment of a report made by a junior, but a junior never says “Very well” to a senior.
  21. Because everything we see on TV is based on real life happenings in the military...... I keeeeed I keeeeed
  22. Does Boxer's comment remind anyone of a movie at all........ Col. Jessep: Do you have any more questions for me, Counselor? Judge Randolph: Lt. Kaffee? [pause] Judge Randolph: Lieutenant, do you have anything further for this witness? [Jessep defiantly gets up to leave the courtroom] Col. Jessep: Thanks, Danny. I love Washington. Kaffee: Excuse me. I didn't dismiss you. Col. Jessep: I beg your pardon? Kaffee: I'm not finished with my examination. Sit down. Col. Jessep: Colonel! Kaffee: What's that? Col. Jessep: I would appreciate it if he would address me as Colonel or Sir. I believe I've earned it. Judge Randolph: Defense counsel will address the witness as Colonel or Sir. Col. Jessep: [to Judge] I don't know what the hell kind of unit you're running here. Judge Randolph: And the witness will address this court as Judge or Your Honor. I'm quite certain I've earned it. Take your seat, Colonel. And for Miss Boxer........
  23. It's amazing to me the change in leadership that went on at Pope from the last Wg/CC to the one that just got fired....
  24. Sounds about right. I refer you to the earlier post that I screwed up. Fun Burglar flew about as often as a Penguin does...
  25. Well, I"m bad at math, so not sure but based on assignments, he picked up at least 98 during his first few assgnments... 1. January 1984 - September 1984, student, Undergraduate Navigator Training, Mather AFB, Calif. (9 Months) 2. February 1985 - August 1990, Instructor Navigator, Wing Command and Control Officer, Dyess AFB, Texas (66 Months) 3. August 1990 - August 1994, Military Training Scheduler, Air Officer Commanding Cadet Squadron 10, United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo. (0 gate months) but possiblly more 4. August 1994 - July 1996, Airlift Plans Officer, Executive Officer to the Director of Plans, HQ Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Ill. (23 Months) And you only need 96 months in the first 12 years to make the first gate and continue to recieve flight pay to 18, and I think keep accruing gate months. (correct me if I'm wrong on the second part) So he could have made the first gate (by the skin of his teeth) unless he found some way to get flight time while he was at the USAFA. Then, all he had to do was skate for until he hit the 50th in July of 1998 and start accruing gate months again. Just my take and please tell me if I'm wrong on it.
