That's the crux right there. It would be great to have a disruptor with operational experience. But we don't. I'm not a big Tulsi fan, but what we need right now are people willing to slaughter sacred cows, and the best people for that task are the ones who have been scorned by the priests of the old religion.

Agreed. Unfortunately Luigi-the-spoiled-assassin probably set back the attempt to get them deregulated by several years

They are terrified of what's coming. Good.

They aren't. It looks that way when you catch two different intersecting orbits that illuminate and extinguish at the intersection point. I've seen it and it's completely trippy, but the giveaway is usually that it's repeating, which makes sense because the satellites are evenly spaced in their orbits. It doesn't take a lot of mental horsepower to debunk the "conspiracy." Alien spaceships have no need for headlights. And secret government programs that have functional anti-gravity propulsion systems aren't going to leave the nav lights on while they do donuts over population centers for fun.

Yep. No different than all the pilots talking about UFOs right now because they don't understand how starlink satellites reflect the sun back at us.

These guys wrapped themselves in the blanket of "being faithful to the Constitution" because they believed their holy purpose was to thwart Trump's agenda. Maybe they should have just turned down the job, since they didn't agree with the policy objectives of the duly elected president. There's no way to be "the resistance" against Trump's agenda without also being the resistance against the American populace that elected him. They are pretty, wannabe dictators, and it's a relief to see the Trump team change course. If you aren't loyal to Donald Trump, you have no place in the cabinet. There is no constitutional position on Ukraine, the middle east, immigration policy, etc. So no, you aren't defending the Constitution by subverting the president's agenda. You are in fact shitting on it.

In your experience were the pilots facing their second board to Major primarily flying airplanes?

This is why I recommend the ACSS reticle that holosun has. It's a game changer for compact conceal carry. https://unclezo.com/2023/01/31/giving-the-acss-vulcan-dot-on-the-holosun-507k-a-fair-shake/amp/

I will say that fun isn't necessarily the metric for a carry gun, and if you weigh 120 lb or less that might be the best option. But the bigger frame of the X/XL variant is much nicer to shoot

Both will be available at most ranges to rent. I thought the 365 was too small, but the 365x is perfect. I'm a medium frame human. It does require a little bit more skill with the short barrel, but that's just another excuse to hit the range.

H.R. 4886 Aviator Cancer Examination Study (ACES) Act
Lord Ratner replied to Sua Sponte's topic in General Discussion
We needed a study to prove this? Was this done by the same team that "uncovered" traumatic brain injury in football players? I can't wait to see how they prove the Eagle drivers live in a disproportionate number of two-father households. -
The Democrats are going to have a full-scale meltdown over this. Biden gave the presidency to Trump, and now he's giving him the moral authority to do anything he wants while in office. I couldn't have asked for a better finale to the Biden show.

Agreed. And let's stop calling people experts. If a given field has knowledge sufficient to require expertise, then it has a title that already conveys expertise: doctor, counselor, captain, engineer, etc. That word has caused an awful lot of mischief over the past decade. Time to retire it.

Y'all sound like the board of every major corporation in America today looking for a CEO. We want someone who's really going to shake things up, take this company out of its rut and into the future as the leader in our field! Ooh, that guy, no he's a little bit too controversial for us. Besides we want someone with more experience in this type of company. Let's go with established-safe-guy-in-a-suit. Fast forward a couple years I don't understand, why is our company still stuck unable to innovate or change direction?

https://a.co/d/3MOJmlj I love mine. The ACSS reticle is absolutely brilliant for quick target acquisition. Much better than the standard reticle, especially on a sub compact. I prefer the smaller size of the open sight. The sealed units are supposed to be better for carrying because it won't get dirty, but I just blast it with a can of compressed air and it's all good. Mine is on a P365X.

This was spotted immediately. It won't matter: "I don't recall" He doesn't have an immunity deal contingent on testimony in a criminal trial as a witness. He already has immunity, and no amount of pretending he forgot everything will change that.

Here's what I would do. Pull up everything the intel world has on Biden's dealings in Ukraine. Whatever he was doing, we assuredly have intel on. So let's assume there's dirt there. Roll into office and in the first week grant Joe Biden and his entire family blanket immunity for the same timeframe of Hunter's pardon. Tell everyone that the country needs to move on and heal, and even though Biden tried to use the Justice system against him, President Trump isn't going to perpetuate the cycle. Then declassify everything regarding the Bidens. A little sunshine will do the country well, and roaches hate it.

Is anyone pregnant and trying to pick a name?
Lord Ratner replied to Lord Ratner's topic in Squadron Bar
When you turn on the "uncommon" filter you see some names that can only be explained by a lifelong commitment to opioids. Then you realize that a name only shows up in the database if at least *5* people were given that name in one year. 😳 -
I never said they would win 🤷🏻♂️

I made a program a while back to help my wife and I pick names for our kids. I decided I wanted to see just how good the newest AI models were at coding (spoiler alert, incredibly good) and reconstruct the program with all the bells and whistles and a unified login system. I'm probably about a day or so away from beta testing, so if anyone would like to use the program, just send me a PM and I'll get you and your spouse set up with accounts. The Baby Namer 9000 allows two parents to independently rate names from the social security database then compare their ratings to instantly see what names were favored by both. You can also see statistics going back to 1880 to see what names were popular during what years, how many people share the name, and adjust your settings to set cutoffs for what names are popular, common, and uncommon. There's about 120k names in this thing. You can also leave comments on names to help you remember what you did or didn't like. Once you activate the setting to let each other see your ratings, you can go back and change your scores to make your spouse happy 🤣😂. All I ask is that you provide feedback on what worked and what didn't. I'll have Claude make the fixes and I'll keep your account active until the birthday of your kid. Thanks!

Gotcha. So no clue what you're talking about. Just checking.
-
Maybe so, but I didn't think that's ever been proven, and it would be terribly disappointing to know that the Chang incident was just a one-off. It's the difference between a Rembrandt and finger painting.
-
Nah, Chang was a brilliant troll-job. Bashi is the clown who's only "trolling" when it gets him out of a corner. Besides, sadly there are a lot of Republicans who are taking such a simplistic and ignorant view on foreign policy. He's a clown, but he's part of a very big circus.
