Whe I look at this, I see a dead Smurf. Not sure how it makes anyone feel better about Hilary/trump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On that note- Costco was (is?) selling a 25 yr old blend for less than 100$. It is easily one of the top three whiskeys I've put across my oral orifice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Almost everything a liberal says registers as bullsh1t to me, but ever since I realized my brain is wired differently than half of Americans, and everything I say comes off as bullsh1t to the other half, I've been a less angry person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They're called RAFSOBs. Regular Air Force s o b. And you can smell a RAFSOB a mile away by his proficiency at MICT and his zipper up to his neck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Compunction-another one of those 5 dollar words. Fortunately, there are lots of lobbyists and congressmen (not to mention well paid Boeing employees) that will work within the law to keep that gravy train rolling. My take on this whole election- unless you're celebrating Mattis as secdef, a republican lock on SCOTUS for a generation, an AG who will crack down on hippies who stop traffic or liberal anxiety in general, the rest will be more of the same. I won't be able to buy a machine gun, Mexicans and Muslims will be just fine, Boeing will build a new AF1 and the protection of title 10 orders will remain. Everybody calm the fvck down. Every pilot who sticks around the AF is a pilot not working in the private sector. Imagine how pissed you would be as a chief pilot who suddenly looses a significant number of his line flyers who dropped mil orders because the government just out bid his company's paycheck. I'd be sure to send my senator/lobbyist a very sternly worded email. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

?s on ADSC (Active Duty Service Commitment)

Mine went something like this: I am a current and qualified f16 pilot, therefore note 1b applies, thus I will only incur the psc adsc per your reg. In other words, they know full well about note one b, but they throw spaghetti at the wall to see who signs the paper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I like the stability we bring to the region by being there. I also can get cheap billeting when I pick up my tailored suits from Mr moon. I know, we're under appreciated but we should be used to that by now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I took a screenshot so I can always remember the way I felt when AFPC acknowledged there are rules... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It's almost as if they plan the hypocrisy. Couple this with the death threats the electoral college has received, the party of tolerance may as well be the ministry of peace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know about the politics, but i do know that large urban centers with dense populations are generally tougher to convince that their property values won't suffer by being in proximity to an air base/live range. It turns out that if you put loud, supersonic airplanes in sparsely populated areas and drop bombs in the middle of the "wasteland", noise complaints are minimized and poorer states get an influx of money. I hear the navy has nice bases though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The ghost of steve jobs autocorrected "conventional" to "convention" and I failed to proof read which took the wind out of my witty comment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

True words from a wise man. Convention wisdom says trump will fvck up at some point, but convention wisdom said HRC would be president. We now have to rewrite the playbook on convention wisdom which should include a chapter of trump grabbing the world by the pu$$y and winning big. I kid. Sorry liberal friends. I'll eat crow just like you in 2, 4 or 8 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I went off the grid today. The plan was to wake up tomorrow to some sort of surprise but get a good night's sleep. I told the wife not to bother me with worldly information (I'm tdy). However, I detected a tone of ecstasy in her voice as she phoned me good night. My curiosity got the best of me and I turned on a live stream of MSNBC to see Rachel Maddow trying to explain away the failures of her network, and a few clips of lesbian feminists crying at the Hillary camp. It's the happiest I've been since I air bursted a g54 on isis in an open field. Who knows, maybe there will be some sort of crazy worm hole that sinks PA, WI an MI for the good guys, but for the moment I am a happy dude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmm, that's not what I gathered from his post. I could be wrong, then again I thought I was wrong once but I made a mistake. At any rate, a 365 may or may not be in your future should you take the bonus. This was one of the major considerations I made before deciding not to take the bonus. If I was in a different spot in my career, i.e. a school guy on a vector, this may not have been a big deal. Should I get tagged with a 180 or 365, I can choose to go or not. That ability to choose only cost me $225k. What's it worth to you? Can you stomach the 'died for a year with a bunch of passed over majors who can't/don't mentor and probably can't E&E out of the Chicago projects? I had some good mentors in my career- ironically the best was in the Robot community. However, I- like others have eluded too- ignored that mentorship in favor of my own wants/desires. Sure enough, it got me right where I thought/they said it would- back in the cockpit but stuck behind my peers. You have some good dudes here trying to give you the advice you're looking for, including some very accomplished grey-hairs who continue to frequent this forum despite the overwhelming sport b1tching that goes on. The impression I get is you've made your decision and you're looking for sympathy. Then again, I could be wrong... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you go from asking for advice on the bonus to attacking the advice you solicited as it doesn't pertain to chi-town street cred? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
