    USAA

Similar story too. The gist of it is usaa had the money back in my account in 48 hrs. Hearing all the fraud stories makes me wonder if these Guys ever get caught
  2. Yup. From mypers: criteria applied in order- 1 current grade dor 2 previous grade dor 3 total active federal commissioned service 4 total federal commissioned service 5 regular officers preceding reserve officers 6 regular Air Force acceptance date 7 grads of service academies, appointed as regular officers and assigned the same dor, on the active duty list in order if class standing 8 date of birth 9 reverse social security number with lowest taking precedence.
  3. Still nothing...
  4. "one of the Americans, who are all in casual clothes, approaches a table of the Filipino policemen and taps the top of a beer bottle with his, causing beer foam to flow out of the bottle." Classic
  5. Unless you want to work for a regional, it might be tough considering applicants to majors all bring with them a completed atp.
  6. But they can work on jets?
  7. still no rip for this fgo. i'm sure it's fine...
  8. The good news is as an attached douchebag I'm flying 10+ times/month!
  9. Who knows, but AFPC shenanigans aside, I've never had the rip not reflect the email they send the bosses. My guess is the porch guy is swamped. I do not envy his job, especially being understaffed in a time when more people are 7day opting than usual. I imagine his job as being something like putting together a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle, and right when you are about 69 pieces away from having a completed product, your drunk cousin stumbles in, knocks over the table and you're back to square one.
  10. I too am on said vml, and have only received a verbal from my boss. No RIP yet.
  11. By caf do you mean droids? I have no idea, but the reg makes it sound that if you are switching airframes, you buy the adsc.
  12. There is an exclusion for pit. Reference the table above the notes, and read further down (I don't have it in front of me), it specifically mentions init quals and how you will incite the full adsc regardless of your ten year commitment. Not sure why pit and iff get this exception, but they do. If you're at the end of your 10 year adsc and you don't like it, 7 day opt- but it is a real thing. Update: table 1.1, rule 16, note 1c. It's a three year adsc as you are going to another airframe (1c)
  13. Works if you're not initially qual'ing. Not the case for t6/38 ips.
  14. I believe you can log primary time since you're flying the jet AND you have your wings.
  15. The 5th gen haters routinely ignore the threat of double digit SAMs, which have become more ubiquitous and arguably the standard for denying us air superiority. Why do we need 5th gen? So my ass isn't a smokin hole when Uncle Sam tells me orbit inside an SA-10 MEZ.
  16. I find myself balls deep in 36-2107 and am surprised that dudes going through pit for the t-38 are getting 3 year ADSCs as fighter dudes got a f8 for iff.
  17. Where I discontinued reading.
  18. It's almost like your saying it does a pretty good job given the limitations of a bureaucracy. And if a bureaucracy didn't let a few slip through the cracks every now and then, I'd be out if a job.
  19. , but if I am getting cut off at the knees and have no opportunities to "shine" then I'm just going to get out. Double edged sword, this manning plan is. I can only imagine the challenge AFPC has to deal with. When there are plenty of pilots, they are pissed when they have to take a job out of the jet. When manning is so bad that you "have" to fly your supersonic chariot for the majority of your career, they complain about not being able to "shine". Wtf. IMO pilots want to fly as long as possible. Most of them being type-A personalities also want to be in command. But they are also aware that to the AF beauracracy, Option 1 rarely leads to Option 2. Is almost like the "stovepiping" in the late 90's/early 00's. Sent from my SM-N920T using Baseops Network Forums mobile app Most of the fighter pilots I know are perfectly happy flying the line.

  21. Stabilized. I'd buy. Rents are high due to everyone having a credit score of 169 and unable to get a loan. Rent that b-tch when you leave and build equity.
  22. I had the same experience as pcola.
  23. she probably doesn't like the way it makes you look in her skirts.
  24. So what's your plan? Troll college campuses and hope a dark-tinted van of over-sexed bikini clad coeds stops and asks me if I'd be interested in being their "oil boy"
