well, at least I know about the viper meme page now, so something good came from it.

In my little part of the AF early on (MSG) I ran into a few blatant racists, who were really passive aggressive about it. Never met a rapist, but I know 4 guys who got charged for it. I was in Comm...plenty of creepy bronies and now weebs with their waifus. In "ops (cyber)" I didn't have out-right racists. I had people that were making ignorant decisions that looked really racist. We educated (somewhat forcefully and directly) and problems were solved. God I loved ops so much more. Calling people out on their bullshit was so much easier (and getting called out was much more helpful).

And no natural gas. So, dig a well for water, and set up a bike to pedal for power? I've got friends who ran out of food and power, they went through their 72 hr kits. Their generators ran out of fuel. You ready to go 3 days or more without power, water and gas in a major city? What the hell is government for if it's not to make sure our communities have utilities? How are our every-day Americans getting blamed in this failing of the business, regulators, and government?

You sure? Pretty sure you spent most of that post showing reasons he should die, and 1 line saying he shouldn't. I've watched the whole video before it was removed from everywhere. I disagree with your assessment of "truth."

Plus, the fact he lied again about how long he was going to be gone, and said it was his kids fault. Oh, good. I thought he was a US Senator or some other kind of leader. Tons of those in TX. Not like he could organize help in his neighborhood/city (instead of planning to flee for a week while leaving the dog), or raise some funds to help those who'll have massive bills coming, or home repairs. Nope, only thing he could do as "just a normal guy with a pretty bland, do nothing job." Pray tell what you're going to do when you run out of gas. Yep, nothing could be done in this situation. Just gotta deregulate more, and disconnect from the power grid...more? Didn't work for El Paso at all.

It's good to see you've figured out how to log out of one account and back in with the other so quickly. Politicians could learn from you.

Your transformation to Immorten Joe is complete.

Was trying to do an alley-oop, failed. Noted, will attempt again later after better planning.

Saw this drop on twitter. Don't think it fits on a different thread so I made this one. https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RRA388-1.html The Air War Against The Islamic State The Role of Airpower in Operation Inherent Resolve

Legit had a Lt that parked in "General Officer" spots because she thought it meant "any."

You're asking him to look past the numbers and get to a reason. Good luck. To him, minorities are just more violent, and less educated by nature. "Those people" are this way now, and always have been. I've had the same discussion with people where they're like, "Why don't they just move out of those neighborhoods?! If they didn't like it they would leave." Zero desire to dig into the issue, really look at the blatantly racist housing issues that kept minorities that could leave in bad neighborhoods (red lines, racist lending practices, racist development [ex. 80 through Omaha], etc.). Then, the war on drugs and mass incarceration at a disproportionate rate for minorities over whites, which crippled the families of what were generally conservative households.

If someone lies in their interview, and has locked down social media...not a lot you can do. Thankfully, the FBI can't just ask for access to see without a warrant of some kind. People lie man, I've seen it first hand...completely fine SF86 (right form?) and then they get a poly, "Oh, yea I forgot about x, y, z." Also, I'd venture some people don't think those extremist organizations are extreme. References to proud heritage, taking back the country, etc.

It's going to take longer than that, I expect there will be more OSI/CID/NCIS directed involvement to root out this sort of thing. It reminds me of stories my Dad would tell about local gang issues he had while he was running the comm workcenters while on the ship. Just more largely organized, which is worse. //break break// You guys thinking @slackline is a troll because he disagrees with you and won't back down is hilarious.

That link doesn't go to "that white people shit." But here's some "white people shit" for you - https://v.redd.it/vzpry1jq3qe61

Holy shit. Get to the ER, you've had a stroke.

I'm a prior-E, so I have some appreciation for the position. I also worked in mostly E environments my whole commissioned career (comm sq's, cyber ops sq's). While your opinion was not absent, it is extremely minuscule among the Enlisted Airmen that I interacted with. E-9 Cody on the other hand, I worked with one of his enlisted execs...oh the stories, also about his wife. Anyone who wasn't a Molotov Douche would be better than that guy, so EJ got some push from that. Do you mind elaborating on your interaction that caused your dislike? I got saluted by him as he visited our unit and I was leaving and he was professional and nice. Never thought I'd ever be in that position, so it was pretty cool to me.

Do believe illegal activities aren't allowed. I still got my clearance! 🤣

Hard disagree.

This was some of the most fascinating discussions on Jordan Peterson's videos on Youtube that I watched. It really highlighted how he wasn't some far-right nutjob, but you know...left gonna left. I still don't know why he gets so much hate outside the, "You can't make me say what I don't want to." I always wondered when I'd read about someone holding a lecture and people attending "in ye olden days," who the hell would go? After listening to his presentations, I get it. I didn't always agree, but it made me think hard about a lot of different things, and I appreciated it. Also good conversation with friends and family.

This was a WILD ride - https://www.axios.com/trump-oval-office-meeting-sidney-powell-a8e1e466-2e42-42d0-9cf1-26eb267f8723.html I don't know how much of it is true. It was echoed in the other news outlets. Apparently there's a whole series, and podcasts. https://www.axios.com/off-the-rails-episodes-cf6da824-83ac-45a6-a33c-ed8b00094e39.html Want to be clear, I'm posting this for entertainment purposes only. 😆

No, but I got 1 friend who is. Why does it even matter. Can't call out bullshit where I see it?

To act like the riots over the exact same thing have happened over and over and over as well. Are we acting like "those people" just like to riot for no reason? I don't know. Dead dude because of a cops knee on his throat vs. QAnon, and the Pres "going down to the Capitol with them" or his lawyer wanting "trial by combat." So no, we don't agree.

So, I agree it is nutty and not a good look for anyone. However, the news the past decade has been about elites covering up child sex rings. Epstein, British House of Lords, Catholic church, etc. Sure, news loves pushing the narrative...but damn if it didn't at least hint to the conspiracy. Also, Epstein didn't kill himself.
