I noticed that he was pretty quick to note how "no fixed-wing plane has been shot down by the enemy in this war." Yet, he fails to mention how no enemy aircraft has fired upon friendly troops. While we're on that topic, no enemy aircraft has fired upon friendly troops since the Korean War. I'd be happy to see him and all his ungrateful, dipshit, army friends write every aircrew member a check for the countless lives we've saved for the last 60 years. This article reeks of "generation me." He has grown up in a country that not only demands, but expects air supremacy. Who the ###### provides that air supremacy? Our nation's entire defense doctrine is predicated on control of the air. As the AF gets further and further marginalized by the dumbass army leadership, I've been saying for years, that we need to just "take a few weeks off" to "learn" them some appreciation. Oh, and turn off all the GPS constellation and all of our ISR assets while we're at it. What's the worst that could happen - protract this 11+ year war?

You can't "call" dudes like this. They turn on the "reflective belts are mandatory" and nothing gets through their thick skull. Or, they go whine and bitch to the first O-6 in their chain, and before you know it, they're threatening you. Is it chickenshit to call someone out anonymously on a forum? Yes. But what about telling your E's to go forth and correct ANYONE? The common theme here is that this is all due to lack of leadership on the part of the O-6's and above. The folks on here are just using an "alternative" means to "call" someone. It looks to me like he's making up for four years of being stuffed into lockers in high school. Douches like this always make me wonder: do they treat their family like this, or are they a totally different person when they cross the threshold of their home? Either way, you're a douche if you treat your family like that and you're a douche if you change who you are. I seem to remember a certain organization preaching to me about integrity. Funny how the most vocal ones often have the least integrity.

Not just taking leave to finish a Master's paper, but failing tests in initial qual training because they were more focused on their Master's paper. Yes, Lieutenants in initial qual training.
