  1. Some more non-standard RSU abbreviations: NAFD: No Apparent Fear of Death NCMF No Concept of Manned Flight CIM: Cock in Mouth (reference garbled radio calls). Cheers, Cap-10
  2. RSU Comments...Steep Final, Incomplete Flare, Firm Touchdown, Bang Nose Gear, Burger King is Hiring. Cheers, Cap-10
  3. 1. For meow's sake, stop saying fuck. 2. Standing by for message 3. I love apostrophe's...and exclamation point's!!!!! Cheers, Cap-10
  4. Is this going to replace the normal ACP that AGR's were getting or is this an additional bonus that non-AGR's will be able to partake? I don't have access to REAMO right meow, is there a formal message for FY-13 ACP bonus for AGR's? Cheers, Cap-10
  5. Don't have connectivity to REAMO right meow...is there a FY13 pilot bonus for AGR's...for example, if someone was starting an AGR tour on 1 Dec 2012? Cheers, Cap-10
  6. While income is a big issue, how about spending? When the Occupy yahoo's were talking about the 1% paying more money, I don't think there was too much math involved...from what I could tell, you could tax the 1%'ers at 100%, take every friggin cent they make and throw it into the federal income column, and we still would be paying out more than we are bringing in. The government could tax everyone at 69% and I bet my paycheck they still couldn't balance the budget and start paying down the debt! We are f@cked!! Cheers, Cap-10
  7. Copy all...my bad....back to hooked on phoenics for me. Cheers, Cap-10
  8. And the Unlimited Champ (2 in a row) went to a private school in New England. Cheers, Cap-10
  9. Same here...Nov UTA's are a no-go, Dec UTA's are still on the books for now (MUTA weekend). No RPA either, just MPA and AT. 6 days a month max and they asked if anyone wanted to volunteer to not work Nov and/or Dec....those 12 days would then be subtracted from their 96 days requirement for the year. Cheers, Cap-10
  10. Al Dhafra...some people are there with their families on 2 year accompanied tours. I have a buddy on a 365 there, but his wife/kiddo are going over for a few weeks to visit. Cheers, Cap-10
  11. I'm not in the CAF anymore, so I defer to your knowledge. Cheers, Cap-10
  12. Because my fini flight was for me, a pilot FGO, not a MAJCOM Command Chief (my attempt at cross-thread humor). Cheers, Cap-10
  13. I didn't write goodly... I know the original article was about ANG money buying pods...my statement was a more generic one about me wishing big blue would get the pods to the guys dropping bombs first...I know, different pots of money. Wasn't trying to imply that the ANG should pay for the F-15E pods. Last time I checked, there are no Strike Eagles in the Guard. Cheers, Cap-10 Yup..had one on my fini flight 6 months ago. (Note: No fire trucks were used during the taxi/shutdown portion of the fine flight). Cheers, Cap-10
  14. I would like to see the entire F-15E community baseline pod upgraded from LANTIRN to Sniper first. Def don't need a pod to do a show of force, but watching the video afterwards can result in good intell or great comedy as the iraq's (looting a HMMWV) run into oncoming traffic...think live action frogger. Cheers, Cap-10
  15. I went fighter to trainer (AFRC)...was on orders for PIT, then 90 days of seasoning. Cheers, Cap-10
  16. Officer Selection Brief (OSB). Cheers, Cap-10
  17. Congrats! Just for everyone's info/clarification, I take it you were a 2003 grad and you were a 10 year UPT guy...obviosuly everyone has a differnet timeline for casual, IFS before starting UPT, so how much of your commitment are you getting out of? Cheers, Cap-10
  18. I know of a Lt Col at SJAFB that essentially sold back his active duty days (20+ years) and moved into an ART position. Also know of an F-15E IP at SJAFB who was a retire/rehire...he only gets one paycheck per day, so if he works 6 days as a TR, he gets 24 days of his retirement pay, and then the 6 days TR pay based on whatever status he is in. Good luck! Cheers, Cap-10
  19. The CFACC on the ROK is a 3 star...his senior mentor is normally a prior CFACC, hence my statement of a retired guy that sat in that same seat 6-9 days ago (reading comprehension implies a former CFACC). Thanks for confirming what I just posted. Cheers, Cap-10
  20. It's ALFA: ALO LIFT (Lead in Fighter Training, now call IFF) FAC (for anyone that doesn't know what FAC stands for, choke yourself!) ATC (Air Training Command, now AETC) Are you saying that Senior Leaders don't consult? Every exercise I played in on the ROK (every other month), the CFACC had a Senior Mentor, a retired old guy who had "been there and done that" by sitting in that same chair 6-9 days ago. I know, because I briefed the two of them, every single day during the MAAP brief. The active duty guy is most definetly the one that has to make the decision, but if you don't think they are consulting retired guys, you are smoking crack! Cheers, Cap-10
  21. I don't think there have been any Saudi accompanied tours since the Khobar Tower days....all of my bro's that have been to Saudi for remotes in the last 6-9 years, bring the fam has not been an option. Cheers, Cap-10
  22. The leadership swapped out during my squadrons time there...Egg was the CC when we showed up, and Beast was the CC when we left. Cheers, Cap-10
  23. https://www.af.mil/information/bios/bio.asp?bioID=7871 Cheers, Cap-10
  24. You are correct...he is (and will be) a year behind his original commissioning year group...just trying to show that a flyer that got picked up above the zone to O-4, still competed and selected to O-5 during his IPZ look. Cheers, Cap-10
  25. He was at the Nellis BX last week signing copies of his book...NSTFS! Cheers, Cap-10
