  1. Well we have the right to free speech, but you also have the ability/right to not be a dumbass either (talking about the Houston, Texas part not specific political stance)
  2. Well here you go, you want to fix something that directly impacts mission employment here's an easy kill, granted that's if you aren't too busy hunting the puzzle palace cubicles for vacation pictures or desecrating actual AF heritage.
  3. https://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/11/01/passengers-evacuated-from-terminal-at-los-angeles-international-airport-after/ Passengers out on the ramp, sounds like a good distraction for something bigger.
  4. Liquid, I don't agree with everything you say, but the maxim, ect ok fine. The picture of my wife and kids at the beach wearing what every fucking American wears at the beach because we aren't Iran is not sexually offensive. You want leaders that combat sexual assault? I can't be one, because your rules and standards defy any fucking common sense, that I don't even believe it when I hear it. I will fry the first person I see making unwanted sexual advances, slapping a female coworkers ass ect, but I can't keep up with the current list of what is sexually offensive I today's AF. Any and all respect I had for you or anyone in leadership, is gone.
  5. I believe he mentioned earlier she was on RC-135s.

  7. I think I understand why Joe1234 is so angry all the time he's flight manager at TACC!
  8. I now understand why finance at Vance was such a shit show when it came to doing their job (second only to the MPF section).
  9. Well I guess some solace can be taken that it's no longer the "good ole boys fighter pilot club" and their "rape songs" that are in the crosshairs of politicians.
  10. You mean the only smoking hot chicks, I'm sure CNN or MSNBC would could reasonably improve their laughable viewership if they got rid of Candy Crowley or Rachel Maddow.

  12. You're right a wise woman would be in the kitchen making sandwiches for us. /sarcasm Seriously though throwing spears in your first post (as evidence by the responses) gets you nowhere.
  13. I find this also funny considering we just shut down Turkey, I have no SA on the pros and cons of operating out of LTAG are but at least we already have a base there. ETA: shutdown as in C-17 deployments.
  14. If I've followed this convoluted case correctly, no one knew about this until people who didn't like the verdict went digging.
  15. Constant, Romania, 30 min from the base with nice beaches and looks like pretty good night life.
  16. All true, that thought crossed my mind after I made that comment, but a) it doesn't stink like manas b) the food will probably be better (especially the produce) c) it's not the desert. Going off base is really only for the non-flyers at manas anyways.
  17. I have 5 bros (marine and navy) that I went to Vance with and it's been almost 2 years since they left after phase 2 and I believe only one has winged and it was fairly recently.
  18. I'm not exactly sure but if they people I know that had literally over a hundred thousand dollars in loans and debt that they racked up in college (student/car loans, credit card debt ect) and still managed to get a security clearance, I can't imagine you having a hard time telling the investigator "my wife lost her job and there were a rough couple months" and him holding it against you.
  19. Well that's a major step up from Kyrgyzstan.
  20. Don't worry we're the government and we are here to protect you.
  21. We no longer have squadron bars they are now "heritage rooms". We no longer have squadron bars they are now "heritage rooms".
  22. If you go through his curriculum, you will understand his advice on credit cards (while he applies it across the board) are for people who can't control themselves with spending or are severely in debt. Can't really spend money when you don't have anything in your bank account vs buying it on credit. I disagree with him on many things but I know literally dozens of families that have followed his finance curriculum and are now debt free years earlier than they normally would. His systems work, they are logically sound and don't rely on credit, which is why I think a lot of other finance people hate him. In today's world your ever precious credit score seems to be the corner stone of people's finances, but when you have no debt or buy your car upfront with cash it doesn't really fit in today's system that relies heavily on credit. ^ this, I know literally not a single person who's premiums that went down, my parents monthly premium doubled.
  23. WaBoom my remarks weren't pointed at you, I've seen this video passed around for months about people complaining about how unfair it is that these people are rich and they shouldn't have all this money. Edit that being said I'm under no illusions that my military job will make me rich nor will my dad working the corporate grind ever be anything but your avg. well off middle class family. Just because you are working your ass off in whatever job you are doesn't mean it will someday make you a millionaire it may if you manage to climb the corporate ladder. However having a revolutionary idea and a lot of risk usually (Microsoft, Apple, Facebook ect.) makes those people the wealthy. Yeah does your Ivy League, family with connections leg ups help? Sure but for everyone person you point out with that had those advantages there's another that didn't.
