  1. Does it really matter?

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/mar/25/nyc-mayor-bloomberg-government-has-right-infringe-/ “I do think there are certain times we should infringe on your freedom,” Mr. Bloomberg said, during an appearance on NBC. GFY Mr. bloomberg
  4. A better question is how does M2 have 2 billion "likes", I mean I know we all like him (well maybe not Nsplyr) but I'm calling shenanigans.

Nope don't have a .22 although if I didn't want the .40 more would have grabbed it and resold it. I hadnt seen a box of 9, 40 or 22 (occasional 45) in almost three months and I just drove from OK to WA and checked in every state we stopped. I did visit a buddy at dyess and there was a little more 40 than anything so maybe it's just a TX thing.

I swung by the local gun counter at Walmart late yesterday and they actually had some ammo. And by some I mean couple boxes of .22, 2-3 100 rd. boxes of .45, 4 50rd. Boxes of. 40 and even a 100 rd. box of .223. Unfortunately I couldn't buy more than 3 boxes so I of course bot 3 boxes of .40... Maybe there's a light at the end of this drought?

no you just get a preview of her campaign for U.S. senate short and ungraceful ending...too soon?
  8. This is true not really much but gouge could we get our hands on prior to going to the schoolhouses, unfortunately only a few I know stopped their masters to focus on flying, most just doubled up. Good advice btw very much appreciated.
  9. So have I, was just a general comparison based on what I've seen has been the avg time to get to an ops Sqd. Agreed on all counts, doesn't help that some leadership at the UPT bases encourage starting one once you finish UPT while you have downtime. Not everyone I know did was abt 50/50.
  10. Gotcha Yep knew several people (butter bars like myself at that) simultaneously going through schoolhouses and doing their masters. Good on then for attempting to do both but sorry my interest is in flying for the next 6-9 months before I even consider starting masters. I'm lucky, I'm already at my operational Sqd. And I got almost 3 months before I pin 1LT so I still have a lot of time compared to other bros I know that showed up with 6 months till their capt PRF was due.
  11. I guess all my fellow 2LT buddies that just showed up to their first operational unit from their schoolhouses that have already started their masters, or the 1LT that just got selected for captain and has started SOS by cor. And their masters are all scheming?
  12. Yeah according to BMI I'm severely underweight, I'm not saying its perfect but there needs to be something that is proportional to different body types, not this assinine notion that every one over 35 inch waist is a fatty.
  13. NOOOOOO you can't do that the entire AF network system would crash or skynet would take over according to the Comm weenies.
  14. Hmmm I don't think the marines have any fattys, and they don't have a waist measurement. I'm not against a waist measurement type component, but this idiot idea that if you have an over 35" waist you are fat or physically incapable. BMI or something similar should be used, I have a buddy who is 5' 5" former football player, absolutely ripped maxes every component but gets docked on his waist measurement, because he is a short muscular dude. He actually has to do the neck and BMI measurement because he fails the AF height and waist measurement. It needs to be proportional to physical stature, I'm a tall skinny guy that couldn't get lose points on the waist measurement if I tried, but other guys that are as tall are "big boned" broad shouldered guys that are getting docked and we are still both physically fit.
  15. actually I think its brilliant move by said airman.

nsplyr, you missed the point how are police going to enforce the private sales restriction? there's no record of of the sale or background check? so what happens when a cop stops someone who is legally carrying a firearm (legal in certain states) and asks for ID and carry license, how am I or this cop going to prove I underwent a background check for my firearm if I purchased it privately.
  17. ^ this Ten tickets (speeding, parking, expired meters ect.) will result in you being disenrolled from ROTC

No that's for when they actually come to confiscate such guns, otherwise telling them to shimmy up a cactus was the correct response.
  19. Another pilot in my squadron happens to have their significant other in the army and was talking about how the next assignment was actually being sent to school for two years, and how masters wasn't a requirement till Lt Col. All the while they were doing an AMU masters degree.
  20. Gee where have I heard this before? Oh right my army buddies I talk too.
  21. Great idea but didn't sequestration kill incentive rides?

Well shit then I'm in trouble because I have no paperwork proving when and how I got my firearms, so what happens now when the police ask where I got it? Am I going to have to carry the receipt with me, when I carry the weapon?

How exactly do you propose enforcing the law? That's the problem no registry = no way to track, now two years from now the democrats will have a "brilliant awakening" that this law needs a registry to work and make the case that they absolutely need a registry.
  24. This what I was getting at with the "generals meda"
