When you are at CSO school you will interact with and get face time with instructors from all the platforms that CSOs can get on. There usually is several career days where these platforms come down to Pcola. Make sure to pick everyone’s brain about their platform. As the top dawg in the class there is always the chance you get something different from what you want. I went ISR (E-8C) and loved it. All my friends who went to the RC-135 seem to really enjoy it as well, NAV or EWO. It’s not a sexy bomb dropping platform but it is strategically important. These guys/gals “deploy” to many locations that ppppaayyy. My buddy is a Cobra Ball EWO and seems to make ~$6-$9k from all the per diem in their Gucci locations on a 60 day rotation. Granted they do deploy often. Bottom line... talk to all your instructors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m transferring from active duty to the ANG this fall. Game plan is to be a bum for a while. If I were offered an ART position would they take Into account my hours and K code from a different platform? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Got Tentative Approval today. Applied on 27 March, pretty quick turnaround. Wouldn’t be surprised if this got done quickly due to the outlook of the economy and the Rona. I was able to see I was approved through the attachments included under my separation application in vMPF. Below is the timeline for approval. I was pretty lucky to have my SQ/CC & WG/CC approve my package. It was obvious from the comments in CMS that played a part for the AFPC approvers. Question for previous parolees. My PC date is 16 October. I live on the opposite side of the country from my ANG unit. It’s going to take me a solid 5 days to get there. Do I have to swear into my unit on the 17th or will I be given travel days to get there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got picked up for a guard unit recently as an active duty guy. I’m looking to Palace Chase and I’ve been given the first task of getting medically cleared first. Question for those who may know. I recently got diagnosed with Hypertension and will be starting a medication to treat it. I know this is a common process but should I wait a couple weeks until the blood pressure comes down so it shows me at a healthy level? Also, I’m scheduled for Corrective Eye Surgery next week, could this hold things up? I’m looking to Palace Chase with an ideal Parole date in October (this is 6 months prior to my ADSC). Does this sound like a realistic date to set?

I want to know who will replace the Great Kenny Loggins on the soundtrack. I need a catchy song to hum along to for the next 30 years.

That's what I'm interested in knowing, what units will be getting J's in the near future. -

Does anyone have knowledge which C-130H units might have their mission on the chopping block? Looking to Palace Chase next year. -
Really enjoyed the Netflix movies, "The King" and "The Highwaymen" was surprised how good they were for not having been to the movie theaters.

Want to give props to David Davies of myfinishingtouch.com Not too many patch companies are willing to custom design one off patches. David has done it for me several times.

Looking to Palace Chase. ADSC is April 2021. Would love to PC now but it seems 6 months or less is the lucky number for other parolees. Question is when can I start submitting the paperwork If my requesting date was October 2020? I haven’t been formally hired by the unit I’m interested in but feel confident I could do so.

The people making the slides are why it says Nav vs CSO. Probably an oversight on their part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you thought about going to your base parachute shop, or going to the alteration shop. I've gotten my desert rank for free from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A friend of mine that is a KC-135 NAV says they don't have intentions of taking on any more NAVs from Pensacola since they are closing shop here soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This article mentions a few things. I think the "Dead Bug" game could be fun, but I can also see plenty of people who would think that's silly. https://christianfighterpilot.com/2006/06/13/fighter-pilot-traditions/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have been tasked with putting together my squadron's next First Friday. I have neither attended one nor know much about them. Looking to see what some of you have done in the past, or thought was fun and memorable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think i've ever seen anyone send in the blue passport for processing an official use brown passport. But that being said, check the foreign clearance guide for country specific requirements (you need to be on NIPR). Wanted to give a follow up for what happened. I did go on the Tailswap, fantastic time btw! I took your advice and looked at the requirements for the countries we were traveling through or could possibly land due to diverting. All the countries we traveled through required a DoD ID card and NATO orders. Had any of the following countries we could possibly land at require a passport then I wouldn't have been able to go. We looked through the foreign clearance guide of all the countries to determine the entrance requirements. I'm sure some of you wouldn't have taken that risk but it worked out in my favor and am glad I got to go.

I knew plenty of Guard/Reserve people in training who were over 30. I'm willing to bet if the unit likes you they will push for a waiver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
