It didn't last long, I snagged a Czech-built 91/38 Mosin carbine at the SA show a week later...
  2. I wish I could, but about all can do is offer to buy a couple of rounds the next time you're in SA!
  3. I'll throw the offer out...anyone stuck at the 'Deid who finds themselves in desperate need of stuff like rank or whatnot, send me a PM. I'll be more than happy to help out (within reason, of course). It's the least I can do. Cheers! M2

Picked up a nice SKS-M (the kind that takes AK mags) today for $375, which isn't bad considering they are going for $475-500 on GunBroker.com! Here are some quick pics from the ad, I just got home from a long day of driving and am trying to relax... For those not familiar with the SKS-M, it is the same size as a paratrooper but does not have a bayonet (the SKS-D does). And yeah, that's a 5-round AK magazine; but it will take a 30-rounder easily. Most SKS-Ms have thumbhole stocks like this, which I am not a big fan of... ...but this one has the Monte Carlo-style stock which makes it look more like the "normal" SKS. It was my first firearm purchase in almost two months! Cheers! M2

A quick review on the first half hour of Bitch Slap...very disappointing! For one, the 'unrated' version is no worse than PG-13. Lots of cleavage, but no real boobs. Unsat! Secondly, so far the movie's focused on one location, with brief "flashbacks" that are cheesy attempts to mimic Sin City. Again, unsat. Lastly, the violence so far is--believe it or not--pretty tame. If I can't have big boobs, at least give me some Jason Statham-type asskicking! There's a few scenes with a little gratuitous violence, but for the most part it is very lacking. If there had been some hot nude chicks I could forgive this, but since neither have materialized, a big unsat! The acting is a notch or two above a porno, and the three main characters are easy on the eyes; but so far it's not anywhere close to what I had hoped! And I doubt it'll get any better... Cheers! M2

They're a paying sponsor, which helps support the forum. If you feel so compelled, we could start charging for the privilege of posting girly pics on here; giving you full credit for the idea, of course... I thought you announced your departure from this forum anyway...

Brick Great report, thanks! Based on my wheel gun experiences, I would say all your comments are on target (weak pun intended)... Cheers! M2

I got my second masters thru AMU, took the comp and it wasn't that bad. Four questions and six hours of upper level BS'ing supported by facts. Going back and reviewing the objectives from the core classes helped, if you can answer those then you should do well on the exam. Heck, just knowing how to properly answer a question at the graduate level (a stated position supported by fact-based arguments) and taking good notes in the core classes during the program will allow you to kick ass (I pass with distinction on all four questions, and graduated with honors, and I'm really not that smart!). However, I did take the classes seriously, to include typing up all my highlights and notes from the books. If it was a core class (testable on the comp), I paid particular attention to the texts. Being organized and taking the program seriously will make a big difference in how you do. My classes weren't particularly tough, just a lot of reading and paper writing and online discussion inputs... All in all I think the comp is the way to go. The thesis and practicum approaches may be more of a pain that you realize. They should easy at first, but once you do a little research on them you'll find they require a lot of time and effort... Hope that helps! Cheers! M2

Can't remember if this has been posted; but give the dude credit, he maintains proper control of his weapon despite taking a hot round (from the guy on his left) down the back of his shirt! Cheers! M2 Video proof that not everyone should own a gun... One more...

OK, there is probably some hot high school trim out there; but this is no way to go about getting some… Of course, back in my hometown there are 22-yr-olds in high school; but it's not because they lied about their age! Cheers! M2

Although Snoop's down with nerds... Anyhow, as for the original "issues," it's simple: cyber badge = yes, cyber wings = no. But it’s too late, the decision has been made. Love it or hate it, doesn’t matter, ‘cause you gotta learn to live with it! Cheers! M2

Yeah, she's the nutbag here in San Antonio, right? I posted a reply on one of her videos stating that Kelly Field was established on 27 March 1917, a few years (85, to be exact) before she moved there in 2002... We call them "Wal-Martians" Cheers! M2

Looks like Harry’s going to fly Apaches after all! It's damn cool that he’s doing this, I think he’s doing a lot to turn around the image of the royals (as well as his own) in the UK… Cheers! M2

Slacker I was just about to post that story. What bullshit, but since it happened in Commiefornia, I am not surprised! Anyone who wants to wave the should be allowed to do so. Cheers! M2

In 1984, when we had the first PC delivered to our office (I think it was a Tandy 1000), the comm dude installing it said it would give us a four-day work week. That motherfucker lied, and if I ever find him, I'm gonna kick his ass! Back then, computers were so cool that the Incredible Hulk sold 'em...
  25. I get phishing emails to my work email account on a regular basis, and duly report them to our J6 and/or "cyberwatch" folks. I usually get the "yeah, we know" response, and nothing is ever done to stop it. It seems they spent more time trying to restrict what we do on the computer, and not what others are trying to do to us... And would promises of a "sweaty and scantily clad Megan Fox" lure me to their web site? Hell yeah! Even if I knew it was bullshit, I’d still go! Cheers! M2
