  1. Definitely worth a read (click on the title for the full article)... Farewell to Ned Stark Col. Jason Lamb, AKA Col. “Ned Stark,” is a career intelligence officer who in 2018, began writing a series of provocative columns for Air Force Times and War on the Rocks about leadership development in the Air Force and where it had gone wrong. They went viral, sparking debate across the service, and even prompting Chief of Staff Gen. Dave Goldfein to offer him a job. Though Lamb ultimately decided not to join Goldfein’s team, he revealed his identity last year and consulted with Air Force leadership on personnel issues. He is retiring July 31, and now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  2. Also considering this, given it's lighter and better suited for Texas... Wind Jacket - ECWCS Gen 4 Level 4 - OCP Just a caveat, what I am looking for has to be AR 670-1 compliant.
  3. Anyone wearing these? How do they fit? Are they only for colder climates? Seeking feedback...
  4. Technically not a flying video, but probably the best walk around of the Hog you'll find on U-Tube!

    Sorry, Jabroni already being used.
  6. Leave that shit to the Navy...
  7. The pilot's name has been officially released... RIP, Bull.
  8. How you can defend those fucks are beyond me, but as usual you are blinded in thinking they are "peaceful protesters" equating them to the civil rights movement of the 1960s. While their tactics suck, those homeowners had every right to defend their property. Anyone who has watched the news over the past few weeks knows how these "protesters" become looters in a heartbeat. Honestly, every time you post, I picture you kneeling...
  9. Although the pilot's name hasn't been officially announced, there is a Facebook post from his wife being shared across social media. I won't include any details until the USAF publicizes his name, but I hope she can find peace...

If that clip doesn't play, go directly to the link: https://twitter.com/CivMilAir/status/1270118492939997190 Why anyone feels the need to post such shit on the Internet is beyond me...

Even worse, Carrillo is security forces (i.e. a sky cop) at Travis AFB. He also may have a connection to the slaying of a Federal Security officer killed in Oakland during a night of violence related to the death of George Floyd. 12. Yes, all RC-135s are assigned to the 55th Wing at Offutt; but they also have a permanent presence at RAF Mildenhall in the UK and Kadena AB in Japan (95th and 82d Reconnaissance Squadrons respectively). They also end up at other places as well. Here's a pretty good open source article on the jet and its mission, if you haven't seen it already... https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/26522/that-usaf-rc-135-rivet-joint-caribbean-spy-flight-was-far-more-common-than-most-think

Holy shit, I almost forgot about this thread. This was a recent acquisition while under quarantine (which I broke to get it!)... And before anyone gets excited, that M1 Carbine is a non-firing replica from Modelgun Company (MGC) and allegedly used in the TV series Walker: Texas Ranger although the guy I got them (I have a second one) from had no provenance to support that claim.
  21. OK, Reaper Patches had some nice COVID-19 patches, but five weeks after I put in order in for a couple of them I haven't heard a thing. Their website says they are having delays due to coronavirus, but this is ridiculous. If they weren't able to fulfill orders in a decent timeframe, then they shouldn't have taken them. I just sent them an email to cancel mine, and if they don't reply by the end of the weekend, I will begin a PayPal dispute for failure to deliver goods. Anyone else have problems with them?
