Is there anyway to remove a 'Like' accidentally given to a post? I can remove the reputation point from the poster, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the actual 'Like!' Cheers! M2

  11. Everyone's probably already seen this (it went "viral" today), but for the few that haven't... U.S. Army Spc. Sabryna Schlagetter kisses her wife, Cheyenne, after returning home to Fort Carson, Colorado, with other members of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team on Friday, November 14. The couple married on Valentine's Day this year before Sabryna deployed to Afghanistan

    I want one!
  14. Damn, I thought I was the only one old enough on here to be a Tull fan. First saw them in concert in 1979 (Stormwatch tour, it was excellent), then again in Germany in 1995 (Roots to Branches) and most recently last month here in San Antonio (technically it's now Ian Anderson doing the music of Jethro Tull). But if I were limited to three, I would do the same as Prosuper Porn, more porn and even more porn. You can never have enough porn on a deployment!

Have the .45 version, it's a great pistol. But the 4" feels nose-heavy to me, would like to shoot one to see how it does.
  17. Nice, but the quote should have been "Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man..." Mark it zero!

The XD-S in .45 is a great pistol, I am amazed at how well it shoots and how comfortable it is. The only reason I don't carry it on a regular basis is because I can do so with my XD-45 which has over double the capacity and shoots even better! The Springfield XD/XDM line is awesome!
  20. Yep, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that actually wearing medals or decorations not earned is NOT protected by the First Amendment, as it is conduct and not speech... https://www.stripes.com/news/report-court-rules-wearing-unearned-medals-a-crime-1.311205 So to recap, a person can lie about it and be protected as long as they aren't doing so for financial gain (fraud), but they can't wear them.

Actually, the .380 is known as the "9 short" outside of the US. It was designed for early blowack pistols which lacked a locking mechanism for the barrel. That simplifies (and reduces the cost of) manufacturing and improves accuracy as the barrel can be permanently mounted to the frame. It really gained popularity with the introduction of the Walther PPK. While somewhat popular as a self-defense round, it lacks penetration outside of close ranges. While I wouldn't want to be shot by one, I also wouldn't consider it sufficient as a primary carry weapon. I think most people carry one because most pistols that use it are lightweight with manageable recoil.
  22. Honestly, I would be more pissed about having to spend 21 days in New Jersey!

Probably, I just think they'd do better make a true 1911 as you said. I just don't see the .380 being that "popular" at the moment outside of the pocket pistol genre. It's still tough ammo to find, and while better than nothing, there are better choices out there! Like I said, I have a .380; but that fact wouldn't drive me to buy another one! To each his own, I guess...
