  2. Wow. Apparently the GScouts are pro-fem, lesbian producing, pro-abortion, godless organization. Glad my daughter is no longer one of them.... https://news.yahoo.com/4-times-girl-scouts-demonized-religious-060600697.html
  3. Gearpig, thanks for your astute observation and cogent response. Google the quote for some context. If it makes you happy, the squadron commander is ######ing retarded for putting out this memo. I've been watching the discussion on whether or not people should be able to say 69 or STS. Makes me laugh and in some cases, glad I am retired. Saying these things does not preserve fighter heritage. Having lived with fellow pilots who every other word out of their mouths was STS was annoying as hell at times. However, the USAF has gone overboard. Having a picture of your spouse in her bikini should be ok. Hanging centerfolds in the vault is not ok. Singing the S&M man is not ok. Singing the Balls of O'leary and Sweet Chariot should be ok. The guy asking a highly qualified fighter pilot who she had to blow to get her WIC patch should have gotten a swift kick in the junk (several times - and I would have been glad to help with the kicking.) My friend who kept introducing his female wingman as his "breasted wingman" should have been pulled off to the side and told to stop it (and I did.) We need to protect ourselves and be good wingman so the SARP idiot does not assault some woman in the parking lot after getting liquored up. Sometimes you gotta grab people by the neck and keep them from doing the "Hold my beer and watch this" routine. Keeps you off tv and off the CSAFs radar scope. Watch the video of the CSAF at the AFA convention. Where do you think he wants his attention to be focused? I am pretty sure it is not the 5am phone call to hear "Boss, you are not going to believe this...." That is enough rambling. Sorry to gearpig for appearing to be late to the fight. Well not really.
  4. While the discussion is interesting, this squadron commander is still going FULL RETARD. Everybody knows you never go full retard. My apologies to the special needs people for using the retard word.
  5. https://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/celeb-news/hail-king-justin-bieber-gets-carried-great-wall-165806219.html What a douchebag.
  6. Holy crap. You cannot make this stuff up.
  7. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/23/jennifer-natalya-pritzker_n_3806126.html?utm_hp_ref=chicago "The highly-decorated colonel -- and cousin of Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker -- has an extensive military career that includes 11 years of active duty in the U.S. Army. Pritzker then followed her Army service with 16 years in the U.S. National Guard." Apparently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Whatever....
  8. The bottom line whether you are blocking access or not while exercising your right to free speech and right to assemble - if you refuse an order from the police, you can be arrested for interfering and refusal to obey a police officer. If the police, in their judgment think that you are causing distractions or making safety an issue, they have the ability to say "In my judgment, there was a hazard being created, I asked them to move and stop whatever they were doing. They refused to comply with my direction. I arrested them for failure to comply and for resisting arrest." Lots of power to the police. I think this video was posted before so my apologies. But standing in your front lawn and videoing the police doing something and they don't like it...you might get an all-night paid trip to the pokey. Right or wrong. Be sure to put it on your SF86 (although I cannot remember if it is only for convictions or includes arrests....) Edit: Damn thing will not let me imbed a you tube video. If'n your interested google you tube woman arrested videotaping police from front yard.
  9. Thread boot...
  10. Quote shortened for brevity....otherwise
  11. Had a jet catch on fire in a hanger that I was cranking up at Holloman and set the fire suppression system off. The foam fuzed the ceramic brakes together and they had to replace 'em. Me to crew chief "cranking the apu". Crew chief: "roger". Funny noise. Cc "HOLY SHIT YOU ARE ON FIRE". Me "that's not good". Big cloud of black smoke goes by the open canopy. No more conversation as I was unhooked from the jet and over the side into about 6 feet of foam. I was surprised by the amount of foam in less than 30 seconds. Unlike the video, it was a pressurized system that jetted out the side of the hanger. Did make a call to ground that jet in hanger xx was on fire. Their response was "say that again?". I suppose I spoke too fast......
  12. Link to one company's MSDS. I am sure there are manufacturers. https://www.chemguard...20C2%20MSDS.pdf
  13. Another nickel in the grass..... A toast to an American hero.
  14. Whoa. What was this thread about????
  15. They forgot to name one of the flight attendants: Owah Tageu Siam.
  16. A video of photos.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0bDeZK6jek
  17. No - you are welcome to have all the esoteric discussions ya want. I simply find it boring. The thread on drindls is much more entertaining and time better spent. (By the way - M2 - thank you!)
  18. I keep returning to see if someone would comment on the original post. Not to see arguments about how morals are based with quotes from the bible and philosophers. For those of you with a commission, seeing something that is not allowed is a responsibility to correct on the spot. Not bitch about the failure of some NCO or junior officer who lets this happen. And by that I mean allowing a guy in uniform to have a goatee and nail polish.
  19. True. https://girls.gunaxin...toberfest/29374
  20. We could only be so lucky that this thread would just DIE.
  21. And I thought this thread was going to get back on track.......guess not.
  22. Agreed.
  23. Where is a Chief when you want one?
  24. With that comment, he should have handed in his commission long ago since he apparently believes he only serves with individuals with low moral character, and that it only gets worse with rank. M2 - Thanks for kicking his ranting ass off BO.
  25. Art of War - in 24 years I moved my family 10 times (that is more often than 2.69 years.) Went on numerous deployments, missed several birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and got shot at. I am also on my second spouse - the first one got tired of all the moves. Still managed to watch my kids grow up. Just know that I was not home for dinner every night of the week. So it, might be a little early to decide that you know what you want in life 10 to 15 years from now but there is not much wrong with thinking about it. Also I knew 11 guys who died in aircraft accidents - none combat related. It is a dangerous business and while it has improved over the years, the only way to have zero accidents is to not fly. You just might have your kid(dies) grow up without you. Life has a way of throwing you unexpected curves regardless of how you think things are planned. Should you make it to commissioning, earn your wings and graduate from advanced training you might eventaully learn that your IPs, flight leads, aircraft commanders, squadron and wing leadership don't take kindly to "well I thought this and disagree with you..." Especially in public and when you have no leg to stand upon. It might not work out so well in the long run. An early lesson you might have learned here is to never miss an opportunity to STFU. GD SNAP.
