The same could be said of the two MAF pilots I've seen in my Sq sent to USAFA to teach. We're undermanned pilots at my base (an MDS FTU), so sending people to special duties isn't exactly helping the manning problem. However the programs are out there for O/E's alike to volunteer for.

It's a special duty that is open to Enlisted.

How long has he been retired, 1-2 years? I highly doubt he waited to retire before he started having the affair. And depending on the rank of the military member being punished he could be the convening authority of Art 15/court martial.

There are plenty of Enlisted people who have good/great records and can't get promoted. They're usually bad testers. That's were the STEP stripes come in, however if you're trying to file complaints against your leadership for EO/IG issues, then don't expect to get promoted.

How have I seen Captains and Majors retire at 20 without any derogatory information towards them? It happens.

Why not charge it while you fly also? That's what KLTS does with our EFB's.

Can you not charge it on the jet?

We've had a few ANG/AFRC guys transition from A-10's and F-16's to KC-135's when they switched units.
