  1. The Flight CC ranks you (30% or so of your MASS in Phase 3), figure out what you need to do. If you want to be a jackass, then enjoy your HC-12. BTW, instructors at UPT bases cruise these forums.
  2. "2" on the regs thing. I'd put him on MIL CAP then wonder why an ADO is fvcking up my timeline...jackass
  3. Why do they were leather jackets and scarves? Do they even know the history behind the scarf?
  4. I am a UPT instructor, S-Cal has got it right. And be a good bro, we are watching your bro act. Flight CC ranking is 30% of your Phase III MASS score, we can raise you up or sink you, we know who the non-team players are. As far as studying before you get to UPT, BOLDFACE at a maximum, we will tell you how and what to learn, you'll only start your own bad habits if you go further than that. Live on base, don't drink off base, it's only a year.
  5. What are blues??
  6. Had an AB blowout at 100 feet with 2 MK-82's onboard on a Block 50, initial takeoff. Ate HUD for a few seconds, reached for the OG doorbell then realized I was gaining airspeed very slowly. Didn't want to FOD out the onbase house my wife was in. Worked out......go/nogo in the Viper, gear up or down

  13. If you graduated after October 1999, you have a 10 year commitment. I graduated in Dec 1999, congrats to me, I have a 10 year commitment because I went through a 4.5 year EE degree. The dudes in my college class that did 4 year degrees, have an 8 year commitment. You must realize that you clock does not start until THE day you put the wings on your chest.
  14. Alright, I hope I have the last word on this poser becuase I left the 77th Fighter Squadron in Jan 07 and there were no freakin Lawyers (who call themselves Attorneys bye the way) in my squadron. It pisses me off that there are posers that want to say they were in my beloved squadron. It pisses me off that the internet allows posers to call themselves what they are not, and furthermore, makes the members of this or any forum question my, or anybodys, real profession or job. Any real Air Force Officer would NOT present their job title with their security clearance because now, you are a target. I believe this poser knows a little about ther Air Force, possibly enlisted, but not an Officer or a pilot. I am uploading a pic of me on the wing of a KC-135, a photo that you CANNOT find anywhere else, my wife toook it on a wife incetive ride watching us air-air refuel. Notice the red "Gambler" tail flash....and Beaver is right, we haven't been to Iraq since WW Gulf II. Shoot this guy down and send me his email address. Didn't realize the photo would be reduced.
  15. This is an easy one to figure out. The math works out perfect that we would have been in the 77th fighter squadron at the same time, I was there from Jan 04 to Jan 07, and I am a Viper driver. PM me if you want some help, I'll give you my call sign and he comes up with my real name, easy. I hate fakes. Or I used to be a Viper driver now doing my best not to be killed by 22 year old Lt's trying to land a T-38, alpha tours are wonderful! And I do think this guy is full of shiza
  16. Stop flying through our damn MOA's................................you wanna die when F-16/15 A-10's are doing a HARB (will not explain that to you) and have target fixation while you fly your -172 through the MOA wondering whats wrong? People like you scare me........
  17. Rainman is right, Rainman is a WIC grad, Rainmain is guard, he's not worried about what the rest of us is worried about...........sorry dude....
  18. Are you both kidding me? Go be a pilot, fighter...heavy....helo. Be in charge, fly the damn airplane. We are not put on this earth to take the easy way out.......... As far as the deployment thing? Pilots and WSO's are gone at the same rate, get over it, airplanes that take both...TAKE BOTH! Age may be an issue, but there are waivers for everything!
  19. Watch "Animal House" and listen to Bluto when Otis is playing at the house.........................probably where it came from.
  20. Its the G-suit, F-22's can go to FL60.....probably a waiver involved too............Dealt with it in Iron Thunder off the east coast of the U.S. It was freakin awsome watching the cons so far above us we couldn't see the aircraft...
  21. TAC! Alot said by BoxHead and Slacker130.... Party suits and the crazy O' Clubs are still in Korea....the kegs are in every fighter squadron everywhere #1) Shoe Clerks with no power #2) Pilots with all the power #3) No SATE/EOR/SABC/Human Traffic training on the computer #4) NO cops hanging around the O' Club (state-side) #5) Red Baron program #6) MX and OPS together again.... #7) The predator does not exist *8) A 20 year career ONLY flying
  22. so I cant spell....they taught me to do math......but these people have a point. They did give me a .5 GPA curve to keep my scholarship b/c Engineering is a bit more difficult.
  23. Aiight, I'm sure you're all right.........The people I knew were Enlisted going for OTS. You are all correct, the degree does not matter if you dont want a scholarship, but why wouldn't you?? A technical degree will never help you, in pilot training or not. (Sarcasim) The Air Force doesn't want technical degrees, of course not. (again...sarcasim) I've already been flying for the USAF for 6 years, went through ROTC (Electrical Engineering) and have no idea what I'm talking about. (again.....) Dude, challenge yourself and do something difficult. You'll be a smarter person and more ready for pilot training or another job if you're not that lucky! (Remember, needs of the AF) Paid off for me, 6 years in the F-16! Nothing that is good for you is easy, as my pappy used to say.......................
  24. Sort of...........If you get a technical degree, that factors into your "Officer" score. I know a few people that had a non-technical degree, their AFOQT scores were on the lower side and the Air Force said no to them. Either way, get a technical degree, if the USAF doesn't work out, you make more money!
  25. LOVE the JD bottle, just didn't want to speak for other communities! Gotta love mustache March though.....damn, thats next month!
