  1. Thats a keg, you should go to timeout.
  2. Put a big enough engine on a brick it will fly.
  3. You haven't said how you think you did, what were your check ride scores compared to your classmates.
  4. Most of them deserved it.
  5. Block 42 F-16 with the pratt 220 would have to tap burner with a TGP/NAV pod and 2 tanks, what a pig.
  6. Aren’t Nellis jobs usually 16 hours of work shoved into a 12 hour day? Yuck.
  7. This thread has derailed and I’m on the road and cannot fix it, sounds like they may rip some current T-6 students out of the pipeline and give it a whirl. Good luck, don’t suck and fail a formal course.
  8. Alaska I would guess
  9. I’ve heard, but not seen, that things got interesting on the CAF FBook page today about this subject.
  10. They have a FBook page that shows what they do
  11. I’ve had LOX all leak out in 30 minutes once, but then again, I’ve had way more OBOGS issues
  12. Someone beat ya all to it but it’s on the ground floor, at least looking at the website. Good dude owns it, maybe worth filling out the contact info and seeing what they can do. https://www.punkpatches.net/#
  13. They are called missles, not hittles
  14. Who destroyed the squadron at Holloman............. Don't F with Christmas.........
  15. Go to your squadron flight doc, work it behind the scenes, it'll work out.
  16. Easy, just put the enlisted pilots under the officers directly, box out the senior NCO's.
  17. That would suck.
  18. I'd imagine they will try it all.
  19. Too old, the AF want's youngin"s so it can project a long term outlook. Senior Captains going through a basic fighter course would be expensive and thy would only get 3-5 years out of them before commitment is up. The other elephant in the rooms is the AF knows who got the MC-12's (I assume you are referencing) out of SUPT, not the top grads.
  20. I'm a T-50 fan but what you need is something that doesn't fly F-4 BFM. Digital FLCS, side stick, and L/M curve that doesn't spike but has a wide range. Learning an instrument 12 degrees nose low and 410+-10 in AB for best rate is not how BFM is done anymore.
  21. True that, but they've already proved they can be taught so there go your mission requirements.
  22. Crash more than once, I think this is pretty standard, but it did take a while. She seems like a good one, her husband though.......
  23. I'm with di on this one, IFF with a T-38 is a joke.
  24. I was looking for this about a year ago.....
  25. We don't talk about fight club......for some reason. (Psst, no one listens to di1636)
