WTF? If you do it as a Capt they won't give you IDE credit later? That's some bullshit - it's the same school!
I know a dude who did Olmstead as a Capt and got IDE credit once he met his school looks - weird they don't do the same with NPS
He probably did his casual at his ROTC Det and the directory reference is a holdover from that. I did casual at my Det after grad and my title was "Assistant Admissions Officer" - which meant I continued to party like a college student but had money. And went to a recruiting fair every now and then.

I don't. I was being sarcastic - highlighting the hole in the logic of the discussion in another thread on how those with low hours can't be good/credible leaders while here's someone with a ton of hours that does not seem to have many fans in the MAF.
