  1. If I was going to spend the $ that I'm sure this will cost, I'd rather buy a TacCon trigger Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 2. I've been carrying with a Crossbreed Supertuck for 5+ years and it's the highest quality and most comfortable IWB holster I've come across. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not too sure about this one... Although my sarcasm detector might be inop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I don't disagree with with rest of what you said, but this made me literally laugh out loud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Down 11.5%. Balls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. if you have orders to a base in the state you're living in, you should good to go, unless it's some crazy state like NY that has stupid laws For example, if you're a resident of GA, but stationed at Eglin, you just show your orders to Eglin and you're good to buy whatever you want Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You'll get BAH regardless on or off base. But if you're on base, they take all your BAH for "rent," which is why ARI said you won't get BAH. Get some roommates and live off base and pocket some $. BAS is intended as food $, but it just lumps into your total. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I can confirm that the AC130W MQT at Cannon is shut down until at least Jan of 2017. It is a manning issue from where I'm at, but the syllabus might also be a small factor. AFPC is changing some dudes (of all crew positions) from W to U's, so good on those guys for getting to go to Hurlburt instead of Cannon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Specifically to your gouge, that BF/OL is outdated and incorrect on the link you posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. First female SEAL in 3...2...1... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. For BX pricing, it depends on what you're getting. You can save a couple hundred by getting an M1A at the BX vs a local gun store, but if you're buying a 10/22 you might pay about the same Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Isn't URT at Randolph/Holloman direct to RPA? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That's a rare trait that could stand to spread throughout the AF Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nail. On. The. Head. This is just...ugh. Hopefully it dies (again) before the good idea fairy infects other wings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I saw that this morning and nearly DNIF'd myself banging my head against the wall Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It's a stratification, i.e. "#1 of 10 LT's in the squadron" or something like that. Strats show up on OPR/EPR's. A letter of rec from your squadron commander means dick, since he already has to fill out bullets for you on the application form. Unless things have changed, you're only allowed to have letters from someone within your current chain of command, so the 2 star you are talking about is hopefully someone that is in some way in said chain of command Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Totally agree with both above. That being said, in my UPT class we had a guy who was an active duty marine officer for 6-9 years and then got out. He subsequently got his commission reinstated (or whatever the right term is) by the ANG and had a guard unit send him through as a guard O3. Take that for what it's worth, I wouldn't want to go that path because I think the chances, especially now and in coming years, will be dwindling that it would work out, but it does happen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Do everything you can to raise your scores. Everyone is different and the PCSM is not everything. But just remember, at the end of the day if you don't apply at all, you have a 100% chance of not getting picked up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Absolutely true, and the most disheartening part Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just ask yourself: if you DONT get your PPL, then subsequently DONT get picked up, are you going to regret it? No one can answer that question but you On the flip side, if you do get your PPL and are subsequently picked up (or even if you aren't picked up), are you going to regret spending the time and $? I think you would regret not getting it much more than taking the time and money to get it finished, regardless of the board outcome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Joe, I think this is EXACTLY what they're talking about. Without the -38, they would be sitting for long periods of time without getting to fly. The point they're making (I think) is that having the T38 as a companion is that it allows for flying where in its absence there would be none. Someone call me on it if I'm misinterpreting... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. that's pretty offensive that you would lower the standards so much for a white guy. They should probably all be BG selects just to make sure the playing field is even Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It took long enough to figure out how to wire up the T-1 for CSO training, I don't think it would be a simple plug and play with the same equipment in a different airframe. The time/$ cost of changing airframes just from that aspect is a huge obstacle to overcome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Damn. A toast... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
