  1. You misunderstood me, and admittedly I did a terrible job of phrasing....I was just pointing out that many of those were crazies who took family members guns. I'm certainly not suggesting that it's your fault if someone breaks into your house and takes your gun. I was just pointing out that if you have someone you know is unstable, it's probably a good idea to make sure they don't have any access to said guns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The other side of that coin is that half the people you named (and many others) never went through a background check to begin with. They illegally obtained the guns from others, who had legally passed a background check. If you've got a gun, it's your responsibility to make sure it's secure when it needs to be. 3. - paranoia and fear are not even close to the reasons I carry -carrying a pistol concealed is in no way "armed to the teeth" -law abiding citizens carrying a personal firearm are NOT the same as armed vigilantes. Please educate yourself to understand the difference if you think those are synonymous Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. For assignment and cross flow stuff from the previous question, they were asking specifically about pilot (obviously different crew positions don't apply) and the cross flow of CSO's is one of the main selling points of having CSO's vs "normal" navs and EWOs, but the rate/ability of cross flow for CSO's vs pilots is entirely different Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. There's a gunship nav who washed out of RPA school...I'll shoot you a .mil if you want the details from her Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've been carrying the Glock 27 for years and absolutely love it. Obviously it's 40 not 9, but even with the mag extension it's the perfect mix of small/light and stopping power. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Unless things have changed, the gunship syllabus at LR is significantly shorter than the slick/J syllabus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, possible bad assumption on my part. There was only an AC-U in the most recent drop, I figured that was him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. After LR you'll go to HRT and the 19th to go through MQT with a full crew (all new going through MQT as well) and spend 4-5 months then go across the street to the 4th. If you've got specific questions about MQT or anything shoot me a PM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You mean "Shoot, Ready, Aim" ISNT the way it's supposed to happen? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. In my small corner of the AF, it's just like any other assignable airframe. Every student is putting it last, and that leads to the two lowest mass scores getting it. There was a "discussion" recently between some flight/CC's and a certain DO about whether or not late rate Capt's can be assigned RPA's because of career impact (ie they can't FAIP so they shouldn't be sent to RPA). The flight/CC's felt that the assignments should be based solely on mass (so if a Capt is in the bottom, he/she will get the RPA if that's all that's left) but the DO believes that the Capt's should be safe from RPA assignments regardless of mass. Having only had 1 class drop so far with the mandated RPA's, I think it's going to get far mor complicated in the near future Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, there most definitely are. Like Napoleon said, they're not the majority...but they certainly are there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm interested to see if they actually cover every aircraft in the inventory as they claim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. There were only 2 T1 studs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. It seemed like they kind of knew it was coming...I'm sure they were aware of their relative class standing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I'm not saying this is impossible...but it's at the very least implausible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don't disagree with that Clark...I do think the argument can be made pretty well to have at least some specialization within the inventory (not trying to digress the thread at all) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. CBM didn't...15-13 is either this coming Friday or the one after that Edit: I can't keep track of all the different classes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Standard for pretty much every "new" airframe in the inventory Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Not too bad...if that's 15-07, any numbers for 15-08 through 15-12? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That...sucks I guess he sort of knows what it's like on AD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. There's a guard guy going to fly MQ-9's at CBM right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. Rather than looking specifically at the U model, try this: 1) look at the mission of the AC130 (generically, not specific to U vs W vs J) and the mission of the MC130...which would you like more? 2) Put on your sheet in that order Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
