  1. Uh...no... This most recent AD board (Jan 14) had at least 20 pilot spots, I think more than that. The board before that (Jan 13) had just as many if not more. If you're talking about OTS/ROTC boards for pilots that is something totally different than what the OP/this thread is talking about. Again, I don't think there has ever been an AD board with 0 pilot spots available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Except that the AD board also assigns RPA CSO, and ABM spots. That being said I didn't know there was ever a 0 quantity of pilot spots... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I've been using a CAC reader on my Mac for about 2 years with no issue and it was just as easy to setup as any windows computer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This is exactly on point...especially since the 300 blk was designed to be fired suppressed. I've got a 8.5" 300 blk setup that I run with a 8" suppressor and it is a beauty to shoot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This. I hate Windows with a passion and I legitimately like Mac OS...using the HUP is perfect for all the "official" work I need to do. There's also plenty of free programs to run Windows files (Winebottler for example) or you can just partition your Hd and run Windows if you really can't stand not having it. But the Air is the best computer I've ever owned by far, not to mention weight and size is great for taking it wherever I need to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Airmans attic is where I take EVERYTHING, not just uniforms. I like to donate to my own airman than to give to Goodwill/Salvation Army (not knocking those at all) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You can always include LOR's as long as they are above and outside the chain of command on the 215 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. A couple days old, and certainly nothing really surprising but a good article none the less https://freebeacon.com/national-security/missing-libyan-jetliners-raise-fears-of-suicide-airliner-attacks-on-911/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm glad I wasn't the only one in the briefing thinking that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. If you're planning on applying, I would still be getting everything together and ready. Nothing says they can't release a PDSM that says the board will be in 2 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Like Nunya said, there is zero difference for mil/non mil and suppressors as long as you're moving to one of the 39 suppressor friendly states. With an SBR you have to get permission to cross state lines ahead of time (mil, non mil, trust, no trust). The biggest advantage to trusts (IMO, there are a lot of different pieces really) is for your kids/dependents when you head west it makes it easier for them to retain ownership/not pay additional fees Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. *sigh* if only people acted like this still Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. FIFY...and you're right on target Also...the dude on the left in the video (and politics coincidentally) is a f*cking moron. Yes, it is semantics: correct and incorrect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Almost goes without saying but the video of Foley was reported as being officially authenticated today too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Totally agree. And I'll take it one step further: the only commissioning source should be OTS, fastest and cheapest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Not to get too far OT, but you can register the car in a different state right when you buy it (or anytime thereafter). I've done it with several vehicles; all you have to do is tell the dealership you want to register it in state X. Or if you've already bought the car call the DMV in the county you want to register it and tell them you want to register a new car. No courthouse, etc. Registration problem solved and probably better than moving an unregistered car for all reasons mentioned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That seems to be the intent, for 99% of people to go in-res. But we all know how well it's worked out in the past from intent to execution.
  18. I think this applies to ~95%, if not more, of our foreign policy over the past several years
  19. Big 2 to all these questions... Also USAFPilot...what relevance in any way whatsoever does the pageant chick have to do with anything? If that's what you're using as evidence to support your point then i think you've shown the legitimacy of whatever point you're making
  20. I don't know what the actual regs say but in reality you will most likely get current base BAH until you inprocess at your new base and update BAH with finance at the new base, at which point your BAH will change. That's been my experience, YMMV

    USAA

I get comparison quotes every couple years and USAA is always the best for me.
  22. I was hoping it was another celebrity punk when I saw the headlines...such a great comedian
  23. YGBFSM...This is one of the headliners for this thread. Heaven forbid someone send this chode an email and see Col instead of BG in his GAL listing
  24. I'd have to disagree after watching the video. I know nothing about racing or Tony Stewart, but the kid was in black on a horribly lit track with dirt flying around. I'm not trying to absolve him (Stewart) of any responsibility, but I think the degraded vis makes it at the very least plausible that he didn't see the kid at all. Maybe he saw the car stopped and not the kid running around, or maybe he did see him and is totally responsible. I just think comparing it to a legit manslaughter scenario like a gun going off is a stretch at best.
