I am shocked and saddened to report our friend and longtime forum member Danger41 passed away yesterday after a freak accident. Many of us knew him in real life and it would be an understatement to say he was an American hero. He was an incredible pilot, officer, mentor, weapons officer and a friend to all. I had the honor of mentoring him throughout his career and was with him at Nellis the night he put his patch on...there are not enough words to describe how good of a person he was. The state and county races are brutal right now. I live in Matt Gaetz's district and he is up for re-election. There is a Super PAC running attack ads against him implying he slept with a minor and at the end of the ad they post his DUI picture as if to suggest he was arrested for sleeping with a minor. I am not a fan of the dude, but dayum. Even worse is our race for County Commissioner. One of the dude's up for re-election is a real work of art. He went into a local store and didn't know they had cameras, he openly asked if he could avoid sales tax (the tax that pays his salary), if he paid cash, then he went on to tell the store owner he was going to "Jew him down." It made the national news, he refused to resign and is now leading the race.
