  1. It looks like the DNC strategy to promote "Trump MAGA" candidates in the primaries was successful which does indeed say Trump's influence is in decline. Let's see what his "big" announcement is on the 14th. If he gets out of the way it would be a very good thing for the GOP, sadly I don't think his ego will allow for the greater good. Personally I would go Desantis/Haley in 2024. I think the dems will eventually dump Biden and push Gavin Newsome along with another extremist.
  2. Regardless who you vote for, make time to have your voice heard!
  3. A great Google Earth find...simply enter 32°04'02.0"N 64°51'00.0"E to see an A-10 conducting a gun run near Sangin Afghanistan.
  4. Dementia Man at it again...FALSELY claiming his son died in Iraq. Biden Verbally Fumbles, Twice, During Campaign Trip in Florida Fing epic song parody...Hilarious if it wasn't so accurate.
  5. Raised rates AGAIN today...and we are running out of Diesel. Another 500 off the DOW and 350 off the NASDAQ I am cashing out for gold, grabbing my hit back and heading for my bug out site...I wonder if they have Ice Cream Cones at the compound.
  6. Recent chat about the Russians being reluctant to employ the SU-57 in Ukraine. It is reported that they just took delivery a few more bringing their total to 12. Interesting photos reportedly first person from an SU-57. If these images are real then it is obvious there airplane are far more rudimentary and FAR less stealthy than the F-22 and F-35. Uneven seams and what appears to be standard metal screws.
  7. VMC only, like fighter pilots?
  8. It is but it is also a Navy focused solution, dumping a crap ton of money to get it on and off the carrier. Concur, but certainly within the realm of possibility. Folks are already working on it. Boom Exactly, if we can fly Global Hawk on long duration ISR missions we can certainly handle a few tankers
  9. Yeah but the offload is crap (10-15K total). I would think is a business case in the INDOPACOM fight for larger attritable tankers...or at least unmanned that could help with the pilot shortage and be pushed closer to the threat ring. We are in serious lag pursuit in this CONOP and I am for out of the box thinking that flips the calculus back in our direction.
  10. What if part of our tanker fleet was completely unmanned?
  11. I agree and it is reflective an earlier time in our history when political violence was not just the norm, it was almost celebrated. Of note some very famous politicians took part in duels, many to the death: 1. Burr v Hamilton - a sitting Vice President killed his rival in a Duel 2. Jackson v Dickinson - over an insult to one man's wife 3. Benton v Lucas - Benton was basically Andrew Jackson's Chief of Staff while in Congress. 4. Graves v Cilley - two sitting Congressman fought a duel, Cilley was killed. 5. Lincoln v Shields - President Lincoln as a State Rep showed to Duel State Auditor James Shields, luckily thier seconds talked them out of the fight or he may have never become President. 6. Clay v Randolph - Clay then Secretary of State and Randolph a sitting U.S. Senator fought a duel where thankfully one purposely missed and the other was a horrible shot. Not meant to be a history lesson but clearly we have a history of political violence in this country and I hope cooler heads will prevail and dialogue will ensue before we ever get close to the days of old.
  12. Political violence is never acceptable, it makes us look like a banana republic. Clearly both sides have nut jobs that act out. Hardly glossing over it, did we know he was from the right in the first few hours? From what I've read so far he seems like a mental patient (nude activist), that has posted many conspiracy theories. This morning I read he supported Trump and has posted some QAnon BS, so clearly NOW we now there is some kind of fringe association to the right, but most of what I have seen indicates a mentally disturbed person. Just curious did you post the same outrage when a left wing dude showed up at Brett Kavanaugh's house to assassinate him before he could vote to overturn Roe V Wade? How about when a left wing lunatic went to a Congressional charity baseball game and shot a sitting Congressman for political reasons (Steve Scalise)? And to be clear, any politically motivated attack like this, regardless of party affiliation, is just wrong. Can we just agree on that?
  13. Down vote bro...lol? Come on you know that shit was funny. BTW my community has had its share of people like that guy. For the record, I have mad respect for the DRACO community. Many of those plank holders are close friends. I am well aware of the sacrifices they made and the quality of leadership that stood up that program. Also, getting them in the WIC was one of the best things we ever did (I fought hard for it). It is awesome to see the all the DRACOs spreading into leadership positions and having so much an impact in the community.
  14. Amen The left has no tolerance for discussion...it is take no prisoners, our agenda at all costs. Look no further than the events that happened to Paul Pelosi last night. It is slowly coming out that this guy believes there is a conspiracy behind the COVID vaccine and the Jan 6 investigation. Dude is clearly a nutjob but less than 8 hours after the attack a California Democrat is running an add linking the attack to the GOP. This after Nancy Pelosi's daughter CHEERED the same thing happening to Rand Paul.
  15. I happily take feedback from supervisors, subordinates, colleagues and people I care about. Random social justice warriors on the internet, not so much. A quick review, you don't like what I post, I am an idiot, I am an asshole, I was a horrible officer and I don't take feedback. You've stalked my profile, quoted my old posts and pointed out all of misguided posts and faulty logic...what next, are you going to slide into my DMs? But I am the one trying to "keep it real on the internet?" Seriously, you might need a new hobby. You do realize it is a web forum...Labeled "Squadron Bar"...I know you want to speak loudest and insult everyone so you can win the debrief but seriously a bit of perspective might help your blood pressure.
  16. 100% it is my belief that the vast majority of Americans are in the middle sharing views form both parties. The bifurcation is pushed by the extremes of both parties. For years the far right has pushed religious based agendas but that pales in comparison to extreme progressive agenda that in many ways wants to literally destroy the United States as it exists today. I would love to see us get back to the middle, but with the universities and press controlled by the left it is going to be an uphill battle. It is almost comical, to be lectured by this cat. I have been lambasted on this forum for saying I am pro-choice. I've also said I want to Trump to go away and I am in favor and support Gay Rights yet he defaults to lumping me into the hard core right wing and without knowing me or what I did judges my career as a failure. Oh well it is a free country and I believe in the first amendment even if you are insulting me and saying something I don't agree with...Murica 🇺🇸.
  17. And the maddening part is the press will echo that accusation. Both sides do and say terrible things but the press was supposed to be there to correct the record, find and report the truth, be the fourth estate and provide a check and balance on the government. Unfortunately the press lost it's way and picked a side, that has enabled so much false information that has been pushed to the headlines. I hope Elon publishes the algorithms that were being used at Twitter...good or bad it will be interesting to see the ground truth on the amount of manipulation performed by big tech. I also hope he finds a way to keep Twitter profitable and functioning so there is a method to share the truth whether I agree with what is being said or not.
  18. Things changed when they declared themselves SEALs of the sky...
  19. Prepare for a rough winter, as of today the U.S. has 25 days of diesel fuel on hand. Additionally, many states in the north east are already rationing fuel oil. The diesel situation is very concerning given our transportation system relies very heavily on truckers, 72% of all goods in this country were moved by trucks last year.
