  1. You would be surprised at what they teach at "Colonel Charm School." They start by sending you a document attached to a congratulations note. Paraphrasing the document but mostly verbatim: 1. Don't ask to be stationed near your parents because they are ill, all Colonels have older parents and we can not accommodate. 2. Don't ask for an extension in one location so your kid can finish high school, all Colonels have kids in high school. 3. Expect to move a lot, the average Colonel moved every 18 months. The needs of the service were never more true than now that you are a Colonel. 4. Again, don't ask for the above, if you don't like these rules, thanks for your service, bye Felicia. I went through both the Group Commander Course and the Wing Commander Course prior to taking command and both were centered on "here are the things that gets Colonels in trouble: 1. The car - I shit you not...long discussions about the rules for using your White Top. The car went away after my command so I guess it was even more sensitive. 2. Money - Be careful and be sure about how you and those in your command spend govt funds...trust but verify. 3. Your dick - I forget the percentage but as I recall almost half of all instances of being removed from command were caused by misplacing your dick. There was a small section about being a dick...for a brief time the AF was actually going to stop caustic leaders but we all know that was just lip service.
  2. So by this logic, shouldn't Hillary have been brought up on the exact same charges? She paid for a fake dossier with the expressed purpose (nothing to unpack on intent), of influencing the outcome of a Presidential election.
  3. I am IN! Where do I sign?
  4. All This Talk of Chaos, I Just Didn't See It': White House Spokesman Says Administration 'Proud' of Afghanistan Withdrawal. John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, said Thursday that the Biden administration is “proud” of its botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021
  5. Biden administration releases report about decisions around U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan "A summary of the report largely blamed former President Donald Trump's administration for the breakdown that occurred after U.S. troops withdrew." Of course it did because the Clown Penis sitting in the oval office will take responsibility for NOTHING. The blood of 13 dead Americans is on his hands and he blames the previous guy.
  6. 💯 - It seems the past few years the FBI has been more than willing to overlook or simply forget the Constitution. 45 minutes of interrogation in the shower?!?!? That agency has run amok!
  7. The American public would be SHOCKED if they knew how much training takes place using civilian assets as "targets." I spent MANY years shooting Antioch churches, seizing civilian airfields and interdicting semi-trucks all over Florida and Alabama. Back in the 50s-60s USAF bombers conducted nightly simulated nuke attacks on major American cities all over the country. I am shocked there have not been more incidents like this. I recall an incident a few years back at Hurlburt where a sitting WIC Sq Commander was the AC for a local training mission. When they transitioned from the live fire ranges to a dry fire scenario over P-Cola there was confusion and improper checklist completion that ALMOST resulted in a live 105MM being placed into a civilian target in P-Cola, (one switched saved them from an accident that would have taken civilian lives and changed AFSOC forever)...Didn't hurt her career of course, she was promoted shortly thereafter. Training in an urban environment is 100% legit. Not every Op is going to be conducted in flat open desert...and for the record, urban canyon is real, it has a HUGE impact on ISR, chain of custody, weapons employment and collateral damage.
  8. It is incredible that religion has both killed and at the same time saved more people than anything else on earth.
  9. In yet ANOTHER example of the system being weaponized against the GOP. This time the Air Force helped and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower doesn't know if a single person was fired.
  10. I don't think you understand the law....it is ONLY a crime (and a misdemeanor at that), if he then used those "altered" books to raise or borrow money. That two year clock ran out YEARS ago. Now I know you are a rah rah hang the Orange Man guy but if you want to connect it to the election that is a federal statue, something the NY DA can't prosecute and something the DOJ already looked at and elected to pass on. By the way to make it a felony it has to be in an effort to hide another crime. Lets say somehow this lunacy is a felony, that clock is five years and again it ran out a long time ago. This is nothing but the democratic hate machine generating drama. You guys are creating a martyr. Prior to this there was a chance he was going to lose in the primaries...now the base will harden in response and he will win the nomination. Even the talking heads at CNN have admitted it...let it go...let him fade to oblivion. Even the New York Times agrees...
  11. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want Trump to go away. Sleeping with a porn star while married but BEFORE you are President, is morally wrong but obviously is not a crime. Just like Clinton having sex in the Oval Office or the long series of trysts Kennedy had WHILE President (including a movie star, a spy and a girl very closely connected to the MOB). Abhorrent non-Presidential behavior, but not a crime (Clinton was brought on charges for lying about it). In your words you said he paid her off with "campaign funds", that is simply not true. The allegation in the indictment is business fraud because he re-categorized business funds and changed the accounting entries. As has been pointed out by BOTH sides, this is only a crime where there an intent to defraud (use those books to raise or borrow money), AND if that was true it is a misdemeanor with a two year statue of limitations. Please look beyond the narrative at the facts, that is what DA should do but as you point out they have political allegiances and they use their position to shape, influence and ultimately charge.
  12. Awesome! Agreed, let's do it! 1. Arrest Hillary immediately and charge her with mishandling national security secrets. 2. Arrest Hillary a second time and charge her with election interference through fraud for the dossier. 2. Arrest Hunter immediately and charge him with a federal gun crime for illegally obtaining a gun. 3. Appoint a special prosecutor to investigate payments from China to the Biden family. 4. Appoint a special prosecutor to investigate payment from Ukraine to the Biden family, including 10% for the big guy.
  13. With a straight face you type that nonsense? How am I choosing to do otherwise...by voicing an opinion? It is YOUR side that is burning it down at every turn. I said when the GOP is in power they will do the same thing out of retribution. Your side is doing it with glee and you want to lecture me on how the GOP should "not" do the same when they are in power...that is truly rich my brother...rich! Who said Civil War...oh wait, you did! I am not calling for Civil War, I didn't say burn it down...I said democracy is dead...when one political party weaponizes MANY government institutions to go after the other party...democracy is DEAD and that is exactly what the DNC has done on multiple occasions. A lot of people have worked to perfect our system but under this current administration they are swimming upstream. You seem so willing to gloss over all that your party is doing to tear down this country. Look at the committee investigating the weaponization of the government...please tell me you don't think it is ok that the IRS visited a witnesses' house WHILE HE WAS TESTIFYING.
  14. Campaign finance laws...interesting given that Hillary ACTUALLY did commit campaign finance laws and was simply fined for it. The strawman theory this DA clown came up with...at least we think because the indictment with 34 felonies doesn't actually articulate the felony part...is that by paying off a woman he had sex with, he some how defrauded the voter. Quick question my friend, if Hillary paid for a FAKE dossier, didn't she in fact defraud the voter and the system with false information? Why wasn't she perp walked in front of a judge...? You mean the ole' legal system that Hilary faced for having a crap ton of TS SAR/SAP on her private server? GMAFB. The Dems have open Pandora's box, just like they did with the nuclear option in the senate and there WILL be retribution which the GOP regains power. Democracy as we know it in this country is dead, we had a good run but the Dems drove a spike through it today.
  15. I know a dude who many years ago MISTAKENLY used his GTC to purchase gas for his personal vehicle, it happened to look very similar to his personal Visa and he pulled the wrong card out of his wallet. He immediately notified his chain of command and sent a payment but they decided to punish him for his egregious mistake. His commander was a complete douche and was looking for a reason to end this guys career, which he did. The dude kept a good sense of humor and actually dressed up as a credit card at a squadron Halloween party.
  16. 13 dead Americans at the Abbey Gate... At least you are in line with SECDEF who has 'No Regrets"
  17. You missed a few: 1. Afghanistan and 13 dead Americans, seriously the cowardice of every liberal that glosses over this event and who bares the blame. Yesterday SECDEF said he has "No Regrets" about the chaotic Afghanistan and Biden didn't immediately fire him. F anyone of you who shares that sentiment. Again, 13 dead Americans, their memory brushed away into the wind. 2. Inflation has reached its highest level in 40 years. I love your phrase "probably contributed some to the high inflation"...Ya think? FFS. 3. An increase in the cost of everyday goods and services disproportionately hurts lower-income families. Real average hourly earnings have decreased by 1.7 percent because of inflation. 4. Border chaos - 2.76 million illegal immigrants crossed the border in 2022 including 600,000 getaways. In Feb of 2023 16 people on the Terror Watch List were detained trying to cross meaning 3-4 made it across each month...great policy you got there. 5. Chinese Balloons - Do whatever you want China. 6. Classified documents EVERYWHERE. Anything to retain power...he can't even read a teleprompter without reading the instructions out loud. Buttigieg...for reals...did you not hear about the issue at the ports (maybe you were following his maternity leave posts instead of the news about the supply chain crisis. The airline meltdown over the holiday...where was this boob? Trains derailing and destroying towns. The only person worse than this clown is Mayorkas. Even the Dems are saying this is nonsense, dressing up a misdemeanor (with expired statue of limitations), in yet another witch hunt. They are creating a martyr.
  18. On the USAF side access to mental health care without retribution should be SOP for our service, especially for those in combat operations. I won't go into all the details but I fought an EPIC battle with Big Blue years ago to keep CLEARED Ops Psychs available to our aviators in the AFSOC world. I am obviously not an RPA operator but the RPA community in particular needs this service. I spent a lot of time commanding and working in their world and my battle resulted in me having to brief the Under Secretary of the Air Force when the Manpower people tried to take them away our cleared Ops Psychs. I used the following argument to successfully keep access to this critical care capability: "Sir, a lot of people underestimate and overlook RPA operators believing they are fighting the war from a box and they get to go home every night, someone insinuating that is an easy way to fight a war and it reduces the risk to their mental health. In fact, our RPA operators wage a far more personal form of combat than most and I believe it defiantly impacts mental health, especially in the long-term. I would ask you to consider this small vignette. Many of our RPA operators will observe the same house, watching the same person for a month or more at a time. As they develop a pattern of life they observe the target kiss his kids each day then send them off to school, they watch him interact with his wife, they watch him pray. The interaction while one way becomes very personal. One morning our RPA operator wakes up, has breakfast with his wife and kids, kisses his kids and walks them to the bus stop then heads off to the GCU. He sits down and five minutes later the phone rings telling him or her to kill the target. Our RPA operator professionally runs the approvals and traps and a short time later launches a missile or two that turns the target into pink mist, but it doesn't end there. Our RPA operator stays over the objective and watches the body in high definition for hours to see who responds. He or she can sees the kids face and grief when they discover their father was shredded into a lifeless mass of meat, they see his wife try to put the pieces back together and they watch as the body is eventually carried off by other friends and family. At the end of his or her shift they drive home and sit down at the dinner table where the family asks "how was your day?" How does our RPA operator possibly answer that question to his family. This form of combat is different than our other platforms that deploy. While on deployment manned operators have a separation that provides a buffer to process everything that happens, the live, sleep and eat with the camaraderie of others who are experiencing the same effects of combat, they have the time it takes to get home from a deployment to decompress and adjust, and they have time at home away from combat when their deployment is over. Our RPA operators have none of that, in fact they are so critically manned that they often can't take leave, the only get one day off per week and they do this in an endless cycle that can last for years on end. Make no mistake the person he or she killed was a bad person and they deserved to die, but we never want our warriors to lose their humanity in the process." Ultimately this argument worked and we were able to keep a TS cleared Ops Psych that was with our RPA folks everyday. I will laugh when someone plays Dos Gringos Predator Euology but I will never disparage our folks in this community, they carry a different burden than most and they do it without an end in sight. And, @Danger41 , they may be the SEALs of the Sky, but I hold the Draco's on the same regard. Most don't know the impact a little PC-12 has had on the battlefield or the commitment and cost to your community.
  19. Sadly that side of the aisle as has been repeatedly stated by our liberal friends on this forum, is "mostly happy" with Biden and his performance. In the next two weeks he is going to announce he is running again, can you imagine what he will sound like in four more years?
  20. It has been proven over and over again that having a complete family unit while growing up is one of the single biggest predictors of success in life. By success I don't mean becoming a CEO or a pro athlete, I simply mean a good happy human being.
