  1. DHS Secretary Mayorkas Was Informed ‘Whipping’ Incident Was Bogus Hours Before He Condemned Border Patrol Agents
  2. If you watch the new CCTV video you can see the nose of the barge as it comes under the bridge and detonates. In other news, Ukraine "claims" to have shot down four Russian Helicopters in 18 minutes - presumably Ka-52s.
  3. Did you watch the video?
  4. As per usual the NYT got it WRONG. The bridge was actually attacked by a SOF team using a remote controlled boat that maneuvered a barge laden with a LOT of explosives into place under the bridge. Like their cousins at the NYT, Russia was quick to blame a truck bomb and even named the driver. Good story and analysis here. They even found the remote controlled boat afterwards.

  6. A big ole FU to CAA community! If you ever wondered how senior USAF leadership views your contributions, now you have it in writing.
  7. Huggy, PLEASE stop using logic!
  8. I see very few people on here defending Trump, most have said they want him to go away. That being said believe whatever you want about his morale character but there has never been a time when the entire system unfairly aligned against a sitting president, not because he did something wrong but because they didn't like him. Partisan dirty politics is one thing but when the free press pushes false narratives, cheers for failure and ACTIVELY suppresses stories like the laptop then we have another situation. And when the FBI and the U.S. Intelligence apparatus acts on behalf one one political party we should all be outraged and demand change. Yes I am happy to flush Trump, but I also want to flush the crooks on the other side and you should too.

  10. Only the ones the government tries to mandate that I inject into my body.
  11. I know for certain legal action is underway but will likely take years to adjudicate under the EEO process. I can tell you the Warner Robins folks that take care of SOF platforms have a completely different and VERY restrictive set of directives that is completely out of alignment with the folks that work helicopters and C-5 at Warner Robins.

    USAA

Years ago I had them for my primary and one of my rentals in Florida. They sent notice that they were cancelling my rental coverage in six months. Two funny events followed: 1. I immediately found another company for the rental, at a lower rate. I called USAA to cancel early and they pushed back. They also insisted I provide a copy of the new coverage AND the rate I was paying. The house was paid off and they had ZERO right to know that data so a nice argument ensued on the phone with a very pushy agent. I got nasty, told them to fuck off and cancel my coverage. 2. After the event above I wrote a note saying I was going to move all of my investments out of USAA. I actually got a call about a week later from a VP on the investment side telling me there was nothing they could do about it. I told him I appreciate the call and FYI I will move everything out of USAA next month to which he actually chuckled and replied "we hope you won't do that." The next week I moved a very substantial portfolio from USAA to Morgan Stanley. A few days later that same VP called me and was incredulous, "you moved everything out of USAA, why would you do that?" I then chuckled and said " I told you in my note I was going to do it, I told you on the phone I was going to do it and you are shocked I did it, seriously?" He tried to give me a list of reasons to come back and I hung up on him.
  13. Comply citizen, eat your cud and comply.
  14. The COMMANDER IN CHIEF saying the Pandemic in a focused interview with 60 minutes is over is HARDLY an off-hand comment. He was specifically asked if it was over, it wasn't one of his rambling musings about Corn Pop or being raised Puerto Rican. Please don't spin and back track like KJP trying to clean up his mess. I sincerely hate it when EITHER side does that from the podium. Normally I would say if it is a fully tested and vetted vaccine and there is a true military readiness need then service members should be obligated (as long as religious exemptions are truly processed rather than given a blanket no, but that is another topic). In this case the Pfizer vaccine received EUA, now 19 months later they "say" it has been thoroughly tested. I have NEVER been a conspiracy theorist and I want to believe in and trust my government, but right now I simply do not. We have seen lies, obfuscation and deceit through the pandemic and I don't have any faith in Fauci and the gang. He refuses to tell us if anyone on the approval committee is receiving royalty payments from the vaccine companies but I am to believe a brand new type of vaccine (mRNA), is good to go? I am sorry there are still too many questions.
  15. Two points of order...the policy shifts like the wind and it not being enforced uniformly. POTUS stated in an interview "the pandemic is over." That moment should have been the end of any experimental vaccine mandate, yet it continues. Nearly all religious exemptions have disapproved and thousands are still being separated including the Coast Guard rescue swimmer Biden personally called to thank him for his efforts and service. Also, civilian DAF employees have a different "policy" everyday. At Warner Robins for example DAF employees who were threatened with termination now face a different circumstance depending on which squadron they are in. In one squadron vaccinated are treated normally, face no testing and are allowed to go TDY with no restrictions. In other squadrons on the same base, unvaccinated face continued testing (despite guidance that says follow local community conditions), and recently had all TDYs not only cancelled but individuals were threatened and counseled they would be PROSECUTED for wasting government resources.
  16. In my opinion Boeing would not help put a boom on the KC-390 because it would be a direct threat to selling more big wing tankers. Right off their Agile Tanker Webpage "Includes advanced boom and resilient, open mission system to support JADC2 requirements"
  17. More than faith, can't elaborate.
  18. State Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo Issues New mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine Guidance This analysis found that there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination. With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group. Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks. As such, the State Surgeon General recommends against males aged 18 to 39 from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Those with preexisting cardiac conditions, such as myocarditis and pericarditis, should take particular caution when making this decision.
  19. There was a formal RFI for KC-Y and posturing by USAF and AMC to just buy more legacy tankers. That COA hit a brick wall in August and they now plan to focus on KC-Z. My guess is that a lot of key USAF leadership changed including Mini. The new leadership wants to disrupt and by shifting to KC-Z they work towards a family of systems that better addresses the present and future needs. That shift is reflected in plans to conduct an AOA in 2024 which will focus on and accelerate KC-Z. Anything is possible but my guess is no. The advocacy for Scorpion and LAE came from an insurgency inside USAF. The only reason we had the multiple rounds of "experimentation" was congressional insistence from people like John McCain. The USAF strategy was obvious, string it along and wait out McCain and they did. Despite funding and planning for 300 aircraft, USAF managed a few on the margins that they now want to give away. Tankers are different, they not only enable the big shiny toys like F-22/F-35/B-2 and the future golden watches like B-21/NGAD, but they are absolutely essential in the INDOCPACOM CONOP. Keep in mind the INDOPACOM CONOP has been USAF's battle cry for funding for the last 15 years. Now that everyone in the building believes we will scrap with China by a certain date, you will see more and more of the budget lean into that effort.
  20. Yes unemployment rate went down (3.5%), but the number of new jobs (usually an indicator of the economy), saw a huge decrease to 263,000 per month from the average so far in 2022 of 420,000 per month. As a frame of reference in 2021 new jobs were being produced at 562,000 per month. Eight months later the rate of new jobs has been cut in HALF...the boat is slowing rapidly as reflected in our negative GDP. As I read the tea leaves the interest rate hikes are biting and the economy is slowing but inflation remains high. With gas prices back on the rise inflation will likely remain high. The next indicator to watch for will be a reduction in earnings from major corporations.
