  4. Iceland is a weird place. It has plenty of ice and is windy and cold. Since its so far north there are no trees and the island is made out of volcanic rock. Mostly covered by mountains and glaciers.

  11. I was in Phx in August of this year for a week and it didn't get below 110 degrees. But its only for 3 months then its only 90.

  17. I was told that ART guys work a lot more then AGR. That there always keeping track of there hours. Does anybody if thats true or is everthing the same except the title? And can you take a non flying ART job and still fly?
  18. Thanks for the info. I know that the GS pay scale isn't so bad. But it might be more work to fly in the reserves on top of your regular job. Especially if your flying heavies.
  19. Its located in Glendale which is west of Phoenix. Its really hot for 3 months and then gets better. There is a big range in housing if you decide to buy.   20. Is ART harder to get then AGR postions? Since you can double dip your pay and retirement?
  21. Also what is promotion like since you already have time in. Do you have one less flying or staff tour?

  24. If your an O-5 or an O-6 does that mean you will be in a command position like XO,CO?
