Yeah, WTF. I understand why companies have policies like that in their own store (don't want to be hit with a stupid lawsuit), but elsewhere?? Then again, Apple store employees are generally a bunch of hipsters who probably hate the concept of justice. Store manager probably threatened to take away Sprint manager's special discount if he didn't can the two guys.

Yeah, I worked with some NATO policy types last year...let's just say that the Spanish were the target of a lot of the "not pulling their weight" jokes more than any other country.

Agreed that yelling/cursing isn't a big deal, but I don't think assaulting fellow crewmembers with ceramic mugs falls into the "ok" category.

Not sure I agree with that. There are a lot of legitimate security issues involved with global warming--just look at how the opening up of the Northwest Passage due to the melting ice is inviting all sorts of oil exploration in what Canada considers its territory. The intelligence community needs to keep at least a minor focus on just about everything. That said, there is definitely a line between what's necessary for security reasons and indulging Al Gore's fantasies.

He was a reservist. Rules are probably different. We have and have had reservists in Congress before.
