  1. Not sure if I should feel sorry for the guy or think it's kind of awesome that a nobody won a major party primary for national office.
  2. I believe so.
  3. Looks like Eric Cartman was onto something with that fear of gingers.

  5. Yeah, WTF. I understand why companies have policies like that in their own store (don't want to be hit with a stupid lawsuit), but elsewhere?? Then again, Apple store employees are generally a bunch of hipsters who probably hate the concept of justice. Store manager probably threatened to take away Sprint manager's special discount if he didn't can the two guys.
  6. C-Springs would be cool in itself, but not so sure it's the best place if you're single.
  7. Fucking a.
  8. Sure makes for a great movie scene.
  9. Yeah, I worked with some NATO policy types last year...let's just say that the Spanish were the target of a lot of the "not pulling their weight" jokes more than any other country.
  10. Agreed that yelling/cursing isn't a big deal, but I don't think assaulting fellow crewmembers with ceramic mugs falls into the "ok" category.
  11. "Ghost Wars" is a good one too.
  12. Don't go bringing logic into the fray now. Besides, I don't think the war would've figured into the defense...though I guess that's moot now.
  13. He had a potentially legitimate argument with copyright issues, but of course had to throw in the anti-military crap.
  14. https://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100211/ap_on_re_us/us_obit_wilson Certainly an interesting character, and who knows where we'd be with Afghanistan if more people listened to his point of view after the Soviet-Afghan War. RIP.
  15. That's about par for the course when it comes to media and airplanes...
  16. I think that's Portugese...but nice video.
  17. Not sure I agree with that. There are a lot of legitimate security issues involved with global warming--just look at how the opening up of the Northwest Passage due to the melting ice is inviting all sorts of oil exploration in what Canada considers its territory. The intelligence community needs to keep at least a minor focus on just about everything. That said, there is definitely a line between what's necessary for security reasons and indulging Al Gore's fantasies.
  18. Aren't there issues involved with holding a security clearance and going to certain countries?
  19. Girls? What are there, 5 of them at Riddle?
  20. Don't forget this one:
  21. I doubt your common media type could even tell the difference between the two.
  22. Right, the article did actually lean towards painting him as a terrorist. And rightly so, for what we know so far.
  23. At least Time is calling it like it is...
  24. He was a reservist. Rules are probably different. We have and have had reservists in Congress before.
