    I recently wrapped up a CC tour at the ANG unit in Chattanooga and the was told the Navy folks worked in the building for a while after the shooting. Shooter drove right past the ANG unit because he didn’t know it was there and that likely kept the victim numbers lower. Small blessings. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app

    Well that’s interesting. I did last half of UPT at Corpus. They needed 1 more stud to graduate in the current FY, so since I was already a rated guy, they sped up my timeline. Graduated 26 September-3 weeks ahead of original timeline. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app

    I just did it this past May. Spent 27 years in a unit that switched to RPAs. Did 6 yrs of that purgatory. Asked if I wanted to go back to manned and jumped on the opportunity. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app

    We’ve never held formal meet and greets. Candidates always visited during a UTA weekend and if they were in the military, we expected them to wear uniforms. Bottom line for us-if you visited and were in the military, then wear your uniform. And no doubt- correct blues for the interview. You will be judged and scrutinized.     WOW! Good to see all of the comments. I’ve seen DEOCS where only a small sample size actually left comments and they weren’t as verbose as these. I cannot imagine the climate that created this.
