I remember sitting on the ramp at Kadena on headset and listening to a Birmingham KC-135 griping on the command post freq about how they'd been waiting on fuel for "over an hour" and requesting an updated ETA. All I could do was chuckle and transmit "Welcome to Kadena".
Who was that Iraqi spin artist getting all the comical air time at the beginning of OIF saying that the Americans were being pushed back while there was simultaneous footage of the coalition advance in the same screen?
GC reminds me of that guy.
You think that is supposed to impress us?
Combat mission count.... go.
Don't forget, nerd: this is the AIR Force. Without us, you'd be in the lower rungs of human resources at Blockbuster Video or something.
Eff off.
Did they still get short tour credit? That would suck to vol for a 365 and get sent home "early", only to have your name thrown back in the hat to be eligible for another one down the road.
