  1. It didn't. He graduated from T-1s. I flew with his class but not him. Sucks that his Dad was pulling all these back-door shenenigans. If he hadn't, his f-ing MASS score wouldn't have been published in the f-ing AF Times.
  2. Per the Columbus AFB WG/CC, Mustache March is CANCELLED! . . . . until the ORI is over.
  3. She's a fu**ing terrorist
  4. We have guys in my Sq who are currently at Speicer, and who have previously done the C-172/208 gig at Kirkuk. I don't think they have any experience with the armed 208 though. PM me and I can pit you in touch w/ guys who have been there recently or are there now.
  5. Maybe for you, but I never went home and spanked it after reading about this:
  6. Ugg . . . . His name shows up in the global at Scott AFB.
  7. THREAD REVIVAL The BaseOps gouge is from '07 so I was hoping someone has some recent intel. I'm a prior qual'd AC coming from a white jet, and I got a training rip for 2 months at Little Rock for "AC INITIAL UPGRADES AND REQUQAL > 5 YRS INITIAL/FORMATION", then another rip for 2 months at Dobbins for "C-130 AC UPGRADE/REQUAL (Initial + Formation)". Anyone familiar with this arangement? Seems dumb to me to move me from one -130 FTU to another, but I assume that is because I am going to an H3 unit. At any rate, it appears I will be at Dobbins just for the tac phase. I'd like to bring my wife & 2 kids if it's possible, so if anyone has any experience or knows some one who has done anything similar, I'd appreciate the info.
  8. I only know of one guy who used them in the T-6, but he did use the same one he had in the Herc. I couldn't say if it was produced the same way as discussed on page one here. Since there is not hot mic position on the T-6, you'll have to stop the music every time you transmit, or you will transmit your Justin Beiber sparklemix every time you key the mic.
  9. The real travesty in all of this is that an unranked, 7-4 UConn team is going to get a BCS game. The Big East needs to get it's auto bid pulled in a hurry - even if TCU joins up. Boise St, who would mop the floor with UConn, will probably play in the - I'm not kidding here - "Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl".
  10. Holy shit, how much crack have you been smoking? Auburn would absolutely destroy TCU. No one wants to see that matchup when Auburn-Oregon has the potential to be one of the best championship games of the last decade. LSU won it all 3 years ago as a two loss team. One of those losses coming in November. Four of the twelve BCS champions have had a loss going in to the Championship Game. Damn right.
  11. Most of my time at Pope we never even had an O-6 who maintained currency in the aircraft. I remember that the Fun Burglar required 2 or 3 MAJCOM waivers to finish Indoc - 2 flights! - which he never did (at least while I was there). A couple OG/CCs were current and would fly once a month, almost always a Pro line. That being said, I would never even imagine a policy as gay as having a crew bio on someones desk 2 days prior to flying. If you want to be a crew dog and fly - show up, brief, execute, and debrief. If you want to write OPRs & policy memos, keep that ship on your desk & out of the Squadron.
  12. Found out I am headed to Cheyenne this summer. I'm hoping some of the info from this 3 year old post is outdated. I communted 45 minutes one-way when I was at Pope and after 3 years it was a huge pain-in-the-ass. Any chance that Wellington, CO is no longer "in the middle of nowhere"? Just looking at a map it looks like it could be no more than 15 minutes from downtown Ft Collins, but a 30 min or less commute to Cheyenne. Is base housing at F.E. Warren nice enough to forgo living in town or in CO? Any gouge on taxes in CO vs. WY? I am assuming you'll pay out the ass to live in hippie heaven. I'm married & my oldest kid will be starting school in 2 years - do Larimer County, CO and Larime County, WY have good schools?
  13. The difference between an AIB and SIB Direct quote: The SIB is out, not the AIB. Further, not all AIBs are released to the public.
  14. If you think it is OK to copy/paste the SIB or AIB here you should have your balls cut off. If you have acess through your unit safety guy, please go read it.
  15. Need pictures of the strippers. And your stepmom.
  16. Numbers 27, 28, 29, and 30 in their UPT class.
  17. From what I remember the T-1 Drop was: KC-10 Travis (x2) KC-135 Pittsburgh, Grissom, Knoxville, Salt Lake City (all ANG/AFRC) C-17 Travis C-17 Charleston C-17 McGuire KC-135 Hickam C-5 Dover(?) RC-135 Offutt E-8 Warner-Robbins T-6 Columbus RPA Creech (x2) That's only 16 so maybe I missed a couple. I've been here 2 & 1/2 hears and have never seen a drop come close to that good - from either side. 4 fighters and no UAVs for the -38 guys, no Cannon for anyone, and with the exception of the FAIP & UAVs, I understand that every T-1 guy got one of their top 4 choices. Lots of big cheesy smiles last night.
  18. Holy crap. Go to the YouTube site of that video and read the comments. Virtually every one is from some chemtrail lunatic - several favor "executing" tanker pilots for giving people cancer. Guess you can't ever underestimate collective stupidity.

  20. That is supposed to be a statement, but you ended it with a question mark. That says it all. You have no f*cking clue how to run your own life. And you have such a derth of SA that you posted this rambling tripe on a message board full of guys who are living their childhood dreams because they manned the f*ck up and put 100% in to UPT. You have two options that have any chance of working out. If you have to think on this for more than 6.9 seconds, then spare your classmates and military supervisors a lot of pain and headaches by taking options #2. Option #1 - Dump her and put everything you have in to excelling at UPT - this is the greatest job on the planet. Option #2 - SIE and get out of the military as quick as possible so you can marry her and live next door to your mother-in-law.
  21. We (09F - Sep grad) were done by around 0930. The "graduation" ceremony was the most ridiculous faggy AF circle jerk I've ever encountered. Unfortunately they don't hand you your certificate until that is over, but I was still back in the dorms by 1000. You'd obviously be pressing your luck a little, but a 1330 should be doable.
  22. PROs: seven of them are not Deleware CONs: one of them is Deleware
