I fully support this statement and can say that the CC involved (From what I have heard) has brought the squadron down by implementing policies like this. Rumor is his enlisted leadership is against it. The parts that aren't on the letter are the worst. The mock test require supervisor AND flight chief present as well as a CPR certified observer. Have to remember the majority of that squadron is ATC and AFE. These guys work opening and closing shifts. Last I talked to one of their SNCOs opening and closing shifts have to attend and the rest of the crew has to figure it out without them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I put in my 365 follow on assignment request. It bounced around the assignments team for about 3 months then was returned stating they would only work my assignment once my wife received one. The big gotcha with that I'm an O and my wife's an E. so really she should be getting her assignment based on mine. Also she can go to basically any USAF base so that's not an issue. I was hit with a 365 and my STRD was 2001. Just had a Lt Col in my unit hit with one as well. He 3 day opted. From some of the discussions while TDY for spin up it sounds like they will stay a year (at least on the advising side) to help build stronger relationships. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm in training with a guy who just finished up his tour doing this. His biggest issue is there is not structure to the program. Nobody knew what to do with him when he was "at home station." They didn't have a job for him and no one really took care of him. The exact opposite has happened as a result. His career is going nowhere. While deployed the AFPAK hands wasn't creating any credit for their work. The SOF guys were getting credit for the projects and processes he was doing. Sounds like a great deal........ Just wondering if anyone knows if this is disqualifying for a pilot? Long story short, don't think it is related to diabetes but I have tendency to get really shaky and break out in sweats. I have found that eating sugary foods helps quickly resolve the situation. Have not been diagnosed with it as I love what I do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
