To put a different question into the mix. I'm headed to T6 PIT in the spring and since my wife was popped for a deployment I will be bringing the kiddos. How difficult will that be on the training plan? I do have family in the area if I have to fly late or whatever but I plan on the kids staying with me wherever I find a place.

Yea for the 17 one co has to be an "augmenting co" or basically I think our sq standard for that is 300 hours and maybe a GRACC workbook. Then a sq cc approval.

Well I honestly remember the pre9/11 world and the operations we were doing I was not really bored. I can say that as a maintainer we had time to properly do inspection methodically and put quality work into repairs. Amazing how times have changed. I believe people will still be busy but not working 12+ hrs and still going home to work EPR/OPRs and trying to find gym time.

It was QC - Rejected but was still available to read. A few days later the final was deleted (probably because someone within the process realized people could still read it). The current status is that there has been an extension granted which is quite normal especially with all the logistics and manpower required to finish this all up.

Just wondering if anyone is active in the community that may have recent info on flying hours, length of tour, and selection info?
