How about back to tracks and assignments? Fighters for everybody now? SP's getting non-vol'd to fighters. The struggle is real.

Looks wise: T-X-decent, T50A-baby fighting falcon and T-100-baby hornet. Hopefully the AF doesn't give when it comes to capes just to save a buck. Curious to see a side by side comparison of each of the 4 competitors.

What about the dudes who could care less about progression and just want the one chance to fly their dream jet? It seems like a cool adventure for some whose mission set is less dynamic we'll say. Not saying they won't meet the demise you speak of, but some dudes may give zero craps about that number one strat or any strat for that matter.

Also, what if that individual have zero fuc&$ about making O-5? How about having dudes in your sqdn that want to be there? Who cares if he has some other stink in him/her. Even if they're only there for one tour, they still were there. Big Blue has made WAY poorer decisions in the past.

So I took the ATP CTP back in March, but am waiting til after the masses complete the practical by Jul 31st. I am curious what the thoughts are on prices dropping and/or smaller places folding due to business drying up. Seeing what the peanut gallery's take is on the subject.

Baseops Warriors, Search function did not yield what I was looking for. Part of my exit strategy involves joining a Guard/Reserve unit in New England. My first choice is the 157th. I can get out in Oct 2018. Looking for any info on the potential for a non-135 guy (B-1/T-38) to get picked up with them. I understand that they are first to get the KC-46 and I don't know if that would help or hurt my chances. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Cheers, Planephlyer

Where you are spot on is that there is a greatly diminished 11F presence in phase 3 (compared to 07-08 when I was a stud, but the problem, I think, is really Phase 2. There is almost zero 11/F or B presence there. All the studs have to go off of is the mentality of the MAF minded folks. Not saying they're all like that, but that's my assessment in the last 2 yrs I have been a -38 IP. BL: $hit is way different nowadays.

They next round of Maj PRF's are already at the group level. I think the central board date is about 3 months earlier than last years. If all if the 06 promo's go at the rate of 229/mnth, they could be done by next January.

Saw on MyPers today that promotion increments are out for 06 Maj selects. 229 for April is what AF proposed, but is waiting on Senate approval. That'll be awesome if that sticks. That should exhaust the list by Jan of 17.

My TUI degree was cheap and accredited (barely). You can skate through or work hard and do the readings which are not difficult. People knock it, but it worked for me and my very hectic schedule.

Another happy NBKC customer here. Saw all their info on this site and decided to call them. Amy has been more than helpful with everything! VA 15-yr, streamlined loan. 3.2%, with $2100 lender credit. Dropping from a 4.9%,30-yr loan. Initial contact to closing is about 5 weeks. Slightly longer due to increase in payment from 30 to 15 yr and VA needs some extra paperwork to ensure we can afford. Highly recommend NBKC and Amy!

Hopefully since they pushed up the '07 boards by a couple of months things will stay on track. Next boards PRFs are already being written in my sqdn. I'm hoping my line number of 1766 happens sooner than next Jan. Here's to hoping anyways.

When asked, my CC stated that he just received an email that the release was delayed 2 months. I'm 99% sure he is messing with me. I told him that I think he's full of $hit, he said "we'll see." I guess he's trying to kill boredom in AETC.

Confirmed, what a bummer. Was hoping for a nice Christmas present. Should have known the AF would do that.
