  1. What FAIPAPALOOZA?
  2. Wow!!! That was a rough read.
  3. Looks like RIF board notifications are going out. I'm an 06'11B and my CC told me today that I'm eligible for RRF board and I need to have paperwork in by 28 May. Anybody else get word today?
  4. They are still good for a deployed shelf check.
  5. Guessing that'll put a squash on his new job as wing king at CBM? Crazy that a 6.9 year old email resurfaced.
  6. SHED? If it is said individual, I can see that person doing it. Sorry to hear that another community got that booger.
  7. My uniform was gleaming with pride yesterday when I got to wear a red undershirt, call sign name tag, pencil patch and Friday patch. I felt like I was walking around at a strip club for the first time.
  8. WK, If your hell-bent on being a CSO then Active Duty is really your only option. The B-1 and the F-15E have CSOs. The guard probably has ABMs, but I'm not completely sure. Commissioning is plausible, but if you take the Active Duty route, then you'll deal with a recruiter and he'll get paperwork ready for the OTS (Officer Training School) board. If you get accepted, then it could be a long wait (1 yr) before you even start. If you want more info on that whole process, I suggest visiting Airforceots.com . When I went through OTS back in 06', and that site provided me some good information on the entire process from beginning to end. If you have any questions on being a B-1 CSO, message me. Cheers Planephlyer
  9. Dudes, While I sit here and drink my scotch, can't help but think of the bros that are downrange doing the mish'. Here...here. Thanks for the sacrifice. Cheers.
  10. No SOS class!?!? How will the warfighters continue to excel if their guys haven't done Project X?
  11. This thread has def become derailed. So if 2 pilots can't handle the rigors of flying, running checklists and talking in the radios (all at the same time) maybe they should choose a different career path (www.nettts.com is hiring)
  12. Rip brothers.
  13. Anybody know of a decent preschool in Del Rio? We're planning on living on base and need to get our son signed up. Thanks.
  14. Supposed to start PIT on 30 JUL. We'll see how this goes. My prediction is that there will be some agreement reached 3.4 second before 1 MAR hits. Based on what all the service chiefs have said, there is no way that we can be a formidable force if there is no money for training/flying hours. We would be phuked.
  15. Such an unfortunate and drastic turn of events. Is it bad if I'm looking forward to going to the Deid so I can just focus on the J.O.B.? break...break Just got our sqdn naming squashed. Aparently an O-6 type wants to be there for appropriate sensoring. Looking forward to a good night.
  16. DFRESH, Was hoping to get some light on the flying there. Specifically, number of flights per day, number of students, moral amongst the IP's. Just want some info on what i'm about to walk into.
  17. I just found out I'm going to be a -38 IP here. I've heard the squadron is awesome. Probably no PIT till May/June. Can anybody on baseops shed some light? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Planephlyer
  18. I just got back from SOS and had the unfortunate displeasure of listening to said individual for 69 minutes. Truly a sad state of affairs. My buddy got up and left after her 3rd reminder of making BTZ. I wish I could be that awesome some day.
  19. At Ellsworth, we had a B-25 land friday afternoon. No shit, there we were drinking in the bar while one of our bros were enlightening us with a Doolittle Raid history brief and a B-25 did 4 "high speed" passes. They parked it next to one of our B-1s and we took a 34th BS group photo standing between the two of them. Pretty cool to be part of a sqdn that has such deep rooted history. B-25 dudes (and dudette) were cool as hell and they loved talking about their baby. Merica!!
  20. Alright, first off I used TFSF and no hits, with that being said... I have a family member (said individual) that talked to the AF Enlistment recruiter today and the recruiter had to do some digging in his regs because said individual took Xanax for a while for depression. Any medical types know where I could find (or a have a link to) the document that MEPS or the AF would reference regarding this topic. I would like to know if it disqualifying or not. Thanks in advance. Planephlyer
  21. I'm in the BPC dorms for another 5.5 mnths. Wireless is really good. I'm in the far end room and my wireless is fine for skype and web surfing. Rooms are really spacious (compared to the trailers.) Really close to the BPC chowhall/gym/bx. Fox sports bar and CC are only a 10 min walk. No complaints here. Enjoy your stay. PM me wiht any questions. Planephlyer
  22. We can fly through their airspace. now, they just don't talk to you and gave you random a$$ fixes to navigate to.
  23. Good call M2. Anthony was a super friendly guy who would give you the shirt off his back. I had the fortunate pleasure of verifying with him this summer. RIP friend.
