I can't say enough good things about Marty and his group. We just did an IRRL with them. It was super smooth and painless! Please feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns. As I said in my previous post...lots of previous houses and loans...none of them compare to Trident!

I recently refinanced a construction loan to a VA Jumbo with Trident. I've dealt with NFCU, Wells Fargo, Ditech (awful experience!!!), Flagstar, CitiMortgage, and many others. Marty and his team are the most responsive and competent group I've ever dealt with. I couldn't be more pleased! We dealt with multiple issues (low appraisal, fireplace letters, well letters, septic certifications, messed up credit, builder warranties, etc.) throughout the process. Whenever there was an issue, my loan officer was able to work through it with me quickly. She was replying to my emails at all hours of the night. Anytime I needed to ask a question, she would reply quickly. She was always available via phone or email. This was the best experience I've ever had in my 20+ years of buying and refinancing houses!

Never done ONE night hub turn?! I might have to call BS on that one. New hires aren't going to the 777...yet.

"I don't like talking about myself." "I'm sorry, but I'm married."

Hire a speeding ticket attorney! They will fight it on your behalf. Speeding tickets are a pure money grab. Don't waste your time! Waste the County's time. Speeding ticket lawyers are fairly reasonable. Mine was $150...but, she had to go back twice on my behalf. Start here: AVVO Best $150 I've ever spent!

Boy, that's a shocker. They finally figured this guy out. He has been pulling the wool over people's eyes ever since his AOC days.

Man...it is hard to get a point across on the vast expanse known as the Internet.... Re-read my post. I quoted (in jest) a bubba who claimed that Kalitta is a shady operation because their engine fell off. FedEx had an engine fall off of one of their planes several years back. The point I was making is: An engine falling off of a plane does not make a shady operation! I could have said, "Kalitta is a very solid operation. Just because an engine fell off, doesn't make them shady." BUT, that wouldn't have meant a whole lot...so, I made a funny. I replaced the words "Kalitta" and "747" with "FedEx" and "DC-10." Obviously, I should have clarified my remark for those that are unfamiliar with some of FedEx's history... I guess it isn't funny if I have to explain it. Sorry...next time I won't try to be quick-witted. I'll be dead serious...or add a smiley or something...

It wasn't long ago that a FedEx DC10 lost an engine (nacelle and all) over Arkansas. I've had buddies that have worked for FedEx in the past. Definitely a shady operation.

This has nothing to do with being a Nav and being a CC. We all know good and bad Navs....AND good and bad Pilots... The point is this guy is THE worst leader I have ever been around. I have never been one to blame leaders for mishaps, but I can say this guy directly contributed to the crash in Kuwait. His focus on non-flying related tasks was #1. He never flew. He had no idea what our mission was. The Al Jabar mission was labeled as one of the most difficult in theater...yet, a brand new AC was assigned to it. When he came down to show his face for the crash in Kuwait, he didn't even bother to stop by to talk with the crew to see how they were doing. He was never an instructor. He was BARELY qualified. He flew with an Instructor every time he flew. He honestly treated us like he was dealing with a bunch of cadets from the zoo... I could go on and on...please watch your back around this guy. He is a 100% DICKHEAD...only concerned about himself...couldn't care less about his subordinates.

It HAS been more than 24 hours since the crash, BUT the policy is 24 hours from the notification of family members.... Press conference @ 1630 CST to release names. https://texomashomepage.com/content/fulltex...a5&cid=6762

Just check the box that you have your ATP done.

FedEx allows a .2 per sortie conversion. SWA allows a .3 per sortie conversion. jetBlue allows 1.3 x your time conversion. As you can see, airlines differ in what they allow. A simple spreadsheet breaking down your time into PIC, SIC, IP, instrument time, & # of sorties is all you need you need to keep up...unless you have civilian time as well as military, then you should keep a civilian logbook as well. Simply keep this spreadsheet up to date and then when you apply, just apply the conversion needed and enter the numbers on the app. The FAA does allow sole manipulator if you are type rated in the A/C, but most airlines want you to only count time that you were the "boss." So, you have to have signed for it & been responsible for the safe conduct of the flight. Once you are called for an interview, the flight time summary printout will pass for verification of your flight time. They just want to make sure you meet their mins. You don't have to do your equivalency test the second you finish UPT. You have to have it done to get your ATP, but unless you plan to go rent a Cessna, you don't need it. That being said, it is very easy to do and since the gouge is right there...it is easier to do it once you are done w/UPT. All of the above info is based on major airlines. The regionals will probably want more in depth info such as CCX time, etc.

I remember when HD24, or just HD as he is known now, had a UPT website...

www.militarybyowner.com is a good/cheap place to list for military people....Obviously, anyone can go to this site and rent your house, but the majority are probably military.

While Sheppard Air is great for the FE written and the ATP written prep...don't spend the money for the equivalency prep. Use Wicked Pilot's link above. It is all you need to study. Study it for about 30 minutes. Once you're ready, go here: https://www.lasergrade.com/locate.shtml find a location, pay the money and you are done. If for some reason you don't get it done, you don't have to stress...I didn't do it until I had my wings for 9 years. The only drawback is that if you don't get it done soon, you don't get to but your T-1 or C-12 or other types on there...BUT it doesn't matter whether they are on there or not unless you are going to a corporate gig someday that flies T-1's or plan to rent a C-12. The airlines don't care about having all of your military types listed.
