She dropped chaff & extended with her fine ass..." real pilots pull out of spins at 1000' "

The BUFF can be anywhere at any moment. It moves by the speed of thought...unfortunately you can't seem to get rid of the JP-8 exhaust trails. Imagine JUMPER with BUFFs BTW YGFSM on this C-17 member(sts) being on Idol (I refuse to put American in front of it). What a warrior tho...If she is USAFA what a waste of a nomination.

Just met with the Bomber AFPC dude in the traveling roadshow today, we had an interesting talk about bomber flows. The most argumentative point was the fact that 55% of ALO's come from the fighters and 45% from the bombers - but you have to understand that the bomber force is MUCH smaller than fighters - a little disparaging? discuss amongst yourselves. Also, ALO requirements are going up!!! from 198 to 300 as of right now...yes!

It has NACWS, which warns you like TCAS. It registers the TXPDr's of A/C squawking based on the 6's antennae, unlike Mode- S which uses a terminal radar feed or on board radar (from my understanding). I came into RADAR and VFR entry many times with another T6 danger-close and it never registered due to how I rx'd the signal.

Container: "They have taken bomber Co's before, so it's an option. They only take 1-3 guys a year..." QUALIFY W/Buff...OPSEC required me to be as elusive as possible. Secrets are out, change your P@sSW0rds.... Container: "After your stint, you can stick around or go back to your airframe" - Dumbing it down for the uninformed...Hell, the thread started because some crazy bombers to T-1 suggestion came up...WTF the craziness?!?. The KBAD 2BW WG/CC was a B-2 guy for a bit. LOL what the hell did they do to get kicked out of b2's? Champ Kind: "stick to giving advice about CAF/BAF/whatever assets, bro" So what is it then?
-
Why fly the B-2? Well, it's arguably the tip of the spear. There are 2 airframes right now that can really fight in the modern S-A enviornment - the F22 and the B2. It's the whole anti-access problem. Sure fiters can get in, but can they come home. If a fiter dude wants to be the best he shoots for the F22, heavies the C17*, and if your a bomber guy, the jet that goes in with the F22 CAP, the B2. Sure they are 2B$ a pop and you ACE it up in 38A's (sweet) and never really fly the jet too much, but when the S@*T goes down your flying halfway around the world to swack things and fly back home and watch your handiwork on Fox (they have hot blonde-casters Ohhhh yeah). As a young bomber guy, this is this explanation I give to family/friends when they ask why I would consider it. They have taken bomber Co's before, so it's an option. They only take 1-3 guys a year. After your stint, you can stick around or go back to your airframe. As far as the bombers to T-1s go, in 2 UPT syllabus's (this is from 6 mo's ago) buffs will be an option to T-1's, and not a total shift. The crew coordination is not too hard to learn from the 38's, and the best T-1 guy in the class can have the "intensity" enough for the bomber community. T-1s should be allowed to fly any bomber in my opinion, they are better qualified for crew airplanes but they gotta want to fight and blow crap up with excellence. My 2 cents. * DISCLAIMER uninformed shooter estimate

I found Michelle Manhart's rambling babble-speak more entertaining. https://www.militarytimes.com/multimedia/video/070406manhart/

see the link below for added b17 pics. it was an all OD 17 from trng command or the crew's a/c. either way this was an early 17 or this acident happenned early in the war. I found most of this stuff a foot underground in a big crater 50+ years later. when I unearthed it, you can smell the a/c! that same musty old smell you get in a b52 or warbird. it was amazing. three engines were still there. pieces scattered all over the place. after the crash there was some cleanup done so not everything is out there, just what people could not pickup by hand. no a/c history available, don't know if crew got out. https://hollysid.tripod.com/sid/index.album?i=0

I told the IP that I was going to push it up, he did'nt believe me FCI the other ones are of a t33/f80. We also found a b17 wreck out there that was incredible. Let's just say that we "liberated" them from being completely wiped out by time MY FIRST SOLO:

I am sure some relic-lovers will enjoy this. The link below has some pics I took of great Air Force machines fading into history out in Avon Park bombing range. Full-screen versions print out well. https://hollysid.tripod.com/sid/index.album?i=2

well, in my limited aviation experience i have become VERY WARY of other a/c around me...i just don't like dumbasses trying to kill me. i was doing IFT in Miami in a 152, on departure to the trng area climbing up. tower advises a low wing complex (good vis you would think) i am at his 12-hi, he visuals. i keep this in mind as i level out at 3k looking for him, but especially off to my right rear (far pass rule). no visual, and i assume he got stupid and didnt follow the overtake rule. i turn 5 degrees left and sure enough 30 sec later this jackass overtakes me climbing up through my former position 5 degrees off to my right 200' feet away from me. then once out in the middle of nowhere on a dual xcntry i was 300'-400' vertically seperated from a piper that would have hit me at a 90-deg intersection i always fly at a goofy altitude, ie 3470, not 3500. most people will round to something easy and if 2 people do that in common airspace it can be the last time they do. TCAS ALERT....RETARDS (far's there for a reason)

well wannaairlift, if you from down here then you are my damn hero and all transgressions are forgiven i don't mean to turn this into a football conversation which i know i will, and i am sure clearedhot will contribute, but UM needs to regroup before they get embarassed by the sucky UF and FSU teams this fall ...i miss dorsey :( [ 20.
