But no one believes they will actually do any of this, just like in 1986. The law can say something but if the Executive Branch doesn’t interpret it in a way that leads to practical execution or just says we won’t do it, it doesn’t matter. Small steps based on demonstrated enforcement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Broken record here but until you arrest the employers and prosecute them you would have to 10 x the border security (both north and south) and interior enforcement to move the needle Turn off the electromagnetic pull of illegal employment and benefits then you can address this, it’ll never completely go away but it will get to a tolerable level

Doesn’t count towards good years? WTF - so a dude with 17 years of AD service could not use this program to get to the check o’ the month club? If he/she retired at 20 Guard/Reserve but with the hypothetical 17 AD years would they at least get points then at least get to the retirement club but with 20 years of service? If anyone from A1 lurks on this forum please explain how you think this is an enticing deal for the majority of retirees you want to come back? What an excrement sandwich Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably so but I see the Globablists itching for a new form of lockdown hence my pointless BO rantings... Eurocrtats Threaten Sanctions on Tucker Carlson for Interviewing Putin (breitbart.com) We're not that far away from thought crimes and 1984

So the least bit of doubt as to our righteousness... so should we have jailed/banned Vietnam War protesters? Or anti-war activists for any of the conflicts we the US of A have been in or Allies we have supported in their conflicts? Freedom has its risks, I'd rather take this risk than the first step down the road you seem to be prodding us on to... There are limits of course, explicit calls to arms against a legitimate government, policy, law for example but it is unreasonable to say that conversing with a foreign leader involved in a conflict with another nation and not directly at war with the United States is traitorous. What's next? You don't like Orban in Hungary and interviewing him and broadcasting it is against the national interests of the USA?

Kinda of an expansive definition to say talking to someone then letting others see it at their own choosing to view it or not is harmful to our national security Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think some of them realize that (hydrocarbon export based economies if they have oil/gas and if not they are mainly client states of other powers) MBS (and a few others) seems to want to try to diversify from just oil exports, they have some financial resources to effect this but will quite a juggling act on his part or any other ME leader who attempts this. They buy social stability with heavy subsidies and keep their clergy in line with generous deference and financial support, can these states keep those two expenses paid while subsidizing a nascent industry that the people of their states can and will do? I’m cynically hopeful for them as I am for parts of America that struggle today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Czechia Signs to Buy U.S. F-35 Jets https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2024/01/29/czechia-signs-to-buy-u-s-f-35-jets/ IDK, seems like we’re encouraging an ally to buy a very pricy system when if they bought a less expensive one (in greater numbers) to acquire/operate/sustain they might be better off in the long run (FA-50 for example) Just my opinion from the cheap seats but a better COA is to plan for our smaller allies to bring more less capable but relevant systems to the party and Uncle Sam brings the exquisite capes rather than expecting them to be mini versions of us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Depends, if the rest of the authoritarian world and parts of the Global South ignore the sanctions on them now and likely after the conflict ends / suspends they’ll bounce back better than we want They got problems but they got means too, more natural resources and a scientific / industrial base that’s capable Russia is never as strong as she seems nor as weak as she seems, my guess is their national pride is stronger than our post modern corporate nihilistic leaders want to believe, I think 10 years after they stop fighting in Ukraine they will be capable of significant military local power projection.

Same That was a very realistic idea as evidenced by both sides in Ukraine War Timeline in the 30s seems plausible after the Ukraine war ends probably in a year or two Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My druthers, invasion seems likely as it (the CCP) will be desperate to distract and redirect their population’s anger as their nation declines and Xi wishes to fulfill his promise of reunification Countries in desperate situations (by their perspective) rarely make wise decisions and the personalities at the top of authoritarian regimes are often gamblers who will risk big when they think they can win Weak corrupt venal western leaders, empty weapons arsenals, overstretched resources and tenuous turbulent domestic politics in your rival make for ideal conditions for invasion methinks.
