If you dig into the details, you'll find a curious definition shuffle of a lot of misdemeanors and felonies in New York City's released stats since Mamdani took over. Most interesting is that REPORTED rapes (the real number is always at least double if not higher) have, by most accounts DOUBLED this year. You'll also find that trying to get those specific numbers requires serious digging. I just did for an hour and still didn't get a good solid public services source with raw data. Yet that stat is being dismissed as a 'classification and reporting' issue instead of recognizing the fact that, like in EVERY SINGLE EUROPEAN CITY where Islamic military age men have been allowed to reign unchecked, rapes have increased dramatically. Definite correlation. Causation? A solid probable. Mark tape: Every place in the next few years where cultural Islam and sharia law are allowed to flourish, crime will go under reported, until the truth is discovered later that outright human rights violations were actually occurring. This isn't Islamophobia, this is recognition of the true track record of every single place Islam in it's cultural form has been allowed to take over since the year 632.

The drop in quality of cops is a direct result of the defund the police movement. Not that the movement actually defunded anything, but it changed the atmosphere powerfully against cops. Ask the question: what sane person would sign up to be a police officer today? Understaff, underfunded police forces will be undertrained and overtasked with poor recruit quality. These events are the obvious outflow. Many here said as much back when de-fund the police first got traction.

It's a standard trope now: Trump's name is somewhere in the Epstein files, therefore he raped a child. Therefore, obviously, anyone who has ever supported anything Trump ever did, even if they didn't vote for him, therefore is in support of rape and child trafficking. It's a level of argument only liberal boomers and internet trolls find completely sensible to imply...but only ever imply, they're too cowardly to say the words themselves.

Anyone on the left want to address this? I read @17D_guy saying in the Iran thread that the Democratic party isn't going violently left...but most of us on ALL sides see it different and tend to agree with Mahar here. If your response is going to be ad hominin against Mahar, save it, we've heard that with Rogan. I'm a legit independent and I want a healthy system. Letting actual communists gain any power over one half of our political system is absolutely unacceptable. Seriously, what is the plan for a healthy Democratic party? Where are your open mic debates on campuses? Where is the pride in being American? Where is the recognition that communism is, in fact, a horrible idea?

Usually right after they pranged on the landing. There is something pathologically narcissistic about the Boomer's interaction with the world. It feels far moreso than previous generations when they got to that age. Instead of giving back to their families and communities and helping guide and uplift the next generation, they've chosen to move to 55+ communities where they're blowing the generational wealth they accumulated as well as the Social Security benefits they voted for themselves. As if they didn't get enough out of life and they deserve more right before they die. It's gross. I still fly with a few of these guys and they are almost universally on the edge of unsafe as pilots. There are the odd few who still fly little planes, and those guys tend to be a lot sharper than their cohort. Unfortunately they are few and far between.

I propose a new amendment: All sitting NCA individuals should not be allowed to use social media while in office. Almost all Silent generation and many Boomers on the socials don't understand the simple fact: Most thoughts you have don't deserves and audience.
