The Ukrainians aren’t wrong to fight…we’re just wrong to spend hundreds of billions of dollars (via debt) to help them fight. If the Ukrainians want to keep fighting using their own resources, then should definitely go for it.

Funny…Mexico certainly isn’t doing everything they can to stop the illegal flow of people, drugs, etc from their country into ours.

Here’s something for you—you can be against spending hundreds of billions of dollars in support of Ukraine while also not being supportive of Russia.

Very few on the left will admit that they got beat badly a couple weeks ago because the majority of Americans disagree with them on most of the important issues. So of course they’re not going to support anything Trump does going forward, and in addition, they’ll slander his cabinet picks. And the progressives will do this on left wing/establishment media sources (redundant) which by and large continue to lose more and more support as their ratings plummet. I see this all as a good thing.

I think Trump defines loyalty as executing his directives as given and not stabbing him in the back…which clearly didn’t happen in the first term. Don’t military commanders expect the same from their subordinates? You can’t be told to do one thing by your commander and then intentionally try to undermine him/her without their being consequences. And if you believe what your CC is in the wrong, then you can go to their boss and so on, and/or write your Congressman. If you’re in charge of the executive branch, then you want your orders followed. As for those who need to keep Trump in check, push back against him if he’s going too far, want a way to “blow the whistle” etc, then that is the job of the other branches via our “checks and balances”. Perhaps the justice department should be its own separate branch of government that shouldn’t have to answer to the President, but that’s not what we have. We give our President a metric shit ton of power/control…if we don’t like who is in charge then the better discussion is how to reduce that power/control, regardless of who is President.

Someone has to explain to me how it’s not due to incompetence, or worse (hopefully not), due to shady stuff going on.

Because Obama was very qualified to be President…oh wait… If the new SecDef (assuming he gets confirmed) F’s things up more than the current retired 4-star SecDef, then most definitely feel free to complain. But the last two to three decades hasn’t exactly been great when it comes to the DoD, and I’m sure many would say most of those SecDefs were “qualified”.

What the left doesn’t seem to understand, is that Trump won on the majority of the issues, Kamala was a bad candidate, and also that Trump came across as more likely to be the one who could act on those issues. But yet the left is doubling down on more illegal immigration, men playing on girls sports teams, mutilating young children, higher taxes/more government spending in the name of fighting climate change, etc. If you’re going to go against the majority of Americans when it comes to issues that matter most, then you better have a super smooth candidate and/or be up against a candidate that even the opposing party dislikes.

Isn’t he one of the guys who says that Trump will be a fascist dictator/Hitler? I’m guessing he’s getting his affairs in order to move out of the country…after all, who would voluntarily decide to stay and live under control of such a horrible monster?

The worst thing Trump can do is put in people because others want them in and/or need to be rewarded. This is how you get Mayor Pete as Transportation Secretary. Trump made this mistake in his first term and he told Rogan he won’t do it again. So no, Haley should definitely not be in his campaign…again. Trump needs to put people in his cabinet that he can trust and that he truly believes can lead and solve problems….and definitely not anybody from the DC ruling class.

I’m still hoping that suppressors will be taken off the NFA list, but I definitely don’t think the GOP will due it via legislation…still a chance I guess with the courts, but I’m not holding my breath.

While I still believe the slight advantage goes to Trump, and as I said before, I won’t be surprised if either one wins…but…if there’s a 20 point swing towards Trump in Georgia among independents compared to 2020, then that says something.

Well it’s a good thing none of those sites you posted are heavily biased against Trump. And if I didn’t know any better, I would maybe assume you were biased against Trump as well.

Let’s be honest, each President since 2005ish (so yes, including Bush) didn’t want Afghanistan to fail under their watch because Afghanistan for the longest time was seen as the legit/supported war. As public support for more activity decreased, Trump was wanting to wind it down substantially, as was Biden. In the end, Biden made the call to end it, most likely when his advisors told him that the government/Afghan military could at least hold things together for a while…which obviously didn’t happen. And anyone who did any sort of close advising in Iraq or Afghanistan knew that this wasn’t going to work out, especially in Afghanistan. BL: As M2 states above, we absolutely suck at nation building. It might sound good on paper, but it’s not worth it. So no, staying in Afghanistan after the first few years was most definitely not worth it. I’m all for going in and breaking things if we think it will net positive the interests for American citizens, but then that’s where things need to stop. But hey, the defense contractors made some serious money.
