Oh I hear you man. I don’t agree with many of the changes over the last few years wrt to UPT, but until the bobs get serious about retention, it’s all about production…and they’re not even doing a good job on that piece.

The AF needs more fixed wing guys…not more helo pilots that go through T-6 training.

The difference here is that I don’t think Ohio State or FSU deserve to go. When you beat BC by 2 points, that’s not exactly portraying dominance when you have a weak schedule. More importantly, how much are you going to bet on FSU beating Georgia? If I were as confident as you are, I’d be putting down some serious cash.

Yep—sure did. To the #1 team in the country. And they don’t deserve to go…even though they dominated most of their average at best teams that they played. FSU didn’t do this, even with their starting QB. But hey, if you think FSU will beat Georgia then I recommend you put quite a bit of money on the game because I’m sure it will pay huge. Let us know what you put down!

You guys barely beat some average at best teams. You also lost your QB. And there are some better one loss teams. I think Ohio State is better than FSU as well, but Ohio State didn’t deserve to get in either. If FSU beats Georgia later this month (possible, but not likely) then I’ll entertain what could/should have happened.

If FSU had destroyed all their opponents, we would be having a different conversation. Oh and UCF didn’t make it a few years ago either. If your schedule is on the weaker side (compared to the other teams we’re discussing) then you need to dominate to make it decisive. I’m of the opinion that FSU will lose to Georgia, who also didn’t make the playoffs…if and when that happens, then hopefully more people will see the committee got it right.

Humans are making these decisions, not computers…so everyone has some of their “feelings” being involved with their decisions. FSU getting to play Georgia for their bowl game is great…if I’m a betting man, I know where I would put my money lol.

Ummm…the Army does it all the time. Also, going back to straight to rotor wing only training for Air Force helo pilots is how it was always done before the mid/early 90s.

As much as I think it’s kind of messed up for FSU to go undefeated in a “top” conference (ACC is pretty weak these days), I definitely don’t think they are one of the 4 best teams. Good on the committee for getting it right this year.

Could any of you imagine the US being in a war these days and the US government straight up lying/not telling the American people/the press on how many American troops have been killed? Yet we see that happening from both Russia and Ukraine. Putin is complete crap and Ukraine is definitely not some type of democracy we should be bragging about. If the goal of the US government is to pay Ukraine (since they were the one attacked), in order to fight/kill Russians and severely weaken Russia’s military, then the US government should just come out and say it…there’s a legitimate national security argument to be made in doing so. But to say we actually care about Ukraine because of who they are, their “democracy”, that’s just bs.

I’m of the opinion that this has been his philosophy for quite a while, definitely spanning while he was on AD and being a high member of the intel community.

He was a top General in the Air Force and was one of the top guys in the intelligence world…let this sink in for a minute about what people in these positions think.

Did they only tell certain people who supported certain political parties, etc that they could/couldn’t eat at a chow hall because of their shorts? Singling out those who follow one political party/ideology and not the other is far worse than anything I saw 20 years ago.

When Trump is literally compared to Hitler by those who have held top government positions, anything is possible.

Last I checked, suspending elections is about as far from democracy as you can get.

A few simple questions if you want to have an honest debate: 1) At what point in a pregnancy do you personally think it should be illegal to terminate a pregnancy if the mother is not at a health risk (physically) to continue her pregnancy? 2) Similar to the question above, at what point in a woman’s pregnancy do Democrats on a national stage want to ban abortions? And can you provide a source for your response? 3) Why aren’t Democrats as supportive of organizations that try to convince women to not have an abortion and assist were her pregnancy as they are with organizations that support/perform abortions?
