  1. I don’t doubt that all the massive spending, policies/regulations making products more expensive, energy situation, etc is good. My question is when are we going to notice this massive economic downturn? If you say now, then I would very much disagree. While I don’t think the economy is good, we’re not in 2001 or 2008/2009 levels yet.
  2. Appreciate the data. My question is this: When does all this start that it becomes obvious to a majority of Americans that we’re in trouble? Predictions are great and all, but if the person making them can’t be fairly accurate with the timeline then the predictions are near useless…just take a look at the global warming/climate change nonsense predictions over the last 30+ years.

Progressives being progressives… They care more about keeping parents from knowing if their young children don’t know what pronouns to use vs allowing Americans to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2023/09/09/new-mexico-gov-michelle-lujan-grishami-ssues-order-suspending-concealed-carry-self-defense/

They just released another message about the issue on their FB page…this time 3 pages of new policies, etc. They’re in full damage control right now. Who do they think their customers are? I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy one their products.

    Liberty Safe just royally F’d themselves… https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2023/09/06/liberty-safe-gave-fbi-access-code-to-january-6-protesters-safe/
  6. “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled”
  7. If you’re referring to Medicare, those who created it are pretty much long gone.
  8. This is why healthcare/insurance needs to be removed from employment. It was originally used as a way of bargaining with union employees as a way to avoid taxes, etc. Just pay people their wage/salary and then allow them as people to find their own healthcare and insurance. Also, we need to treat healthcare and health insurance as two totally different things. Treat routing health care (the flu, basic bone breaks, strep, basic prescriptions, etc) like basic car needs (ie oil change, new battery, etc)—you pay out of pocket. And treat health insurance for treatment that will not be used often, if ever (major surgeries, cancer treatments, costly disease prescriptions) like car insurance for when you have a bad accident/total your car…you have a high deductible that you can save for in case it’s needed but won’t go bankrupt as well. I’m sure I could have worded it better, but I think you get the idea. Expecting great healthcare for a much less direct cost to you means that someone else is going to be picking up the tab.
  9. Then don’t voluntarily use those organizations/businesses.
  10. I think I speak for just about everyone here when I say that your first post is not what an aviation enthusiast would first ask. Political leadership first question because you’re an aviation enthusiast?—really? We’ll moderate the content for the time being.
  11. Come on now man, you can’t really blame someone for wanting to pretend the flew helos.
  12. Dude, you can tell people you’re working for the bobs and they want the info…you don’t need to make up some story how you’re just a curious random civilian, who just joined the forum within the last week…and your first post is about what we all think about retention, readiness, and the political leadership.
  13. Just go out on a witch hunt in order to give out an Article 15…oh wait, you don’t have that authority. Air Force got something right. By the way, are you aware of any commander who made a list of people who weren’t wearing masks when ordered, and then when the vaccine became mandatory, checked it against IMR status?…and then gave out Article 15 to said members? If you wanted and were willing to do something so draconian that not even a handful of actual commanders carried out, well, then like I said…the Air Force actually got something right.
  14. Then you would think the vaccine makers would have been able to have done a better job making this vaccine.
  15. Checks
  16. I agree on the fixing part. But one party actively wants to suppress enforcing border security wrt illegal immigration.
  17. It’s almost as if politics/ideology is keeping the the US from securing its borders…but that would be a conspiracy theory I’m sure.
  18. Your words two years ago speak for themselves. You were against everyday folks who didn’t want to get the vaccine, and then who didn’t want wear a mask, didn’t want to social distance, etc. I’m just pointing out that you were being a complete jerk and believed that what you were being told was true—that if someone fell into the camp above, that they were wrong. So unless you would like to admit that you were being a jerk and that you were wrong, I just reposted your words for everyone else to read once more.
  19. It’s funny to see people try to act differently today when this is how they were 2 years ago. It’s ok to have been wrong in the past, and it’s ok to even change your mind. I’ll even forgive people for being jerks if they show remorse and humility. But people need to own what they said/did and tell people they were wrong and a complete jerk. Anything less than that, well, then I’ll assume they’re the same person as two years ago.
  20. Especially when we all know it was actually Obama who killed OBL.
  21. So you’re for age restrictions on voting, but just the current age restriction. I mean, if a 16 year old can operate a vehicle by themselves, surely they’re competent enough to be able to vote? A lot of people are supportive of amending the Constitution to change the age to 16…would you be in favor?
  22. Just curious if you’re supportive of removing the other age restrictions outlined in the Constitution?
  23. He was literally the VP during 8 years of that shitshow… And as President he said it was “highly unlikely” that the Taliban would take over and that he had trust in the Afghan military.
  24. Wait…so you’re telling me that the government “leaders” messed up? Never could have guessed that. As for people getting fired…are you serious Clark?
