I’m talking about actual legal betting on who is going to win. People on both sides talk really tough that they’re “so confident” their candidate will win, and yet they would never put money on them winning. Even before Biden dropped out I thought that the election favored Trump, but I wouldn’t bet $10K on it…maybe I would bet a nice dinner and that’s about it.

Of course this is a response from someone who gets called out for their BS—you were also called out similarly a while back as well. But again, you recently said that we should be concerned that Trump has said he’ll terminate the Constitution…but then afterwards you admit that it will never happen. So why should I be concerned about something that you and I both agree will never happen? However we look at it, the odds are extremely likely that either Trump or Kamala will be the next President, so of course I’m going to vote for the one who I believe has better policies/screws me the least. All that “Trump is a fascist” stuff is just hyperbole nonsense.

“The preliminary investigation revealed two groups were shooting at each other.” While this is horrible for the family, especially losing two children, this incident appears to be gang related, though of course I don’t know all the facts. If so, when a 16 years old is involved with groups shooting at each other, my initial question comes down to parenting—who is allowing their 16 year old to be involved in such activity? Unfortunately this is happens elsewhere in the country and it has to be fixed with better parenting.

Oh I did a staff job many years ago with the acquisition/test world…that movie is like their “Top Gun” lol. But seriously, this is what I don’t understand about even those on the right—they literally want us to spend more money on “defense” and desire more wars/conflict. Talk about throwing more good money after bad.

1. Well, the Air Force seems to have money for DEI stuff and other nonsense…so while they might be hard broke, resources are finite, and using resources for X then reduces resources for Y. The real question is was the Air Force/DoD this bad over 20 years ago and I just noticed it my later years or has it been getting worse and worse? Either way, it’s not good.

If you haven’t received your contracts bonus on schedule, then your CC, his/her CC, and so on should be asking about this weekly, if not daily. This is no different as not receiving your basic pay. I would also reach out to your Congressman’s office ASAP.

This isn’t recent news—it’s been this way for at least 2-3 years now. And yes, it’s embarrassing, but after seeing how AFMC handled the ISS issues with the seats and the OBOGS issues, no one should be surprised. But it’s good that the AF has allocated resources to things like DEI…you know, what really matters when winning wars.

If you only need about 60 hours to an unrestricted ATP, why not just go spend the money and get them?—I get that it could cost you around $10K, but that’s a drop in the bucket when you factor in getting seniority sooner. Also, do you have your CTP yet?—I think you might be able to apply some/all of those(?) sim hours towards your total time.
