  1. There is currently no shortage of eligible candidates who want to attend pilot training and incur the current ADSC.
  2. Biden already said he wouldn’t change a thing going forward…so we shall see.
  3. It’s not too often that Prozac and I agree on things, so when it happens, it’s worth mentioning.
  4. Hawaii at the time was a US territory, most definitely part of the US. It would be the same today if China attacked Guam. Which I don’t see happening in my lifetime.
  5. I’m old enough to remember the Cold War…yep, never had combat troops in the USSR and the Soviet Union never physically attacked the US. I do think it’s funny when people compare the US of today to 1941…seems more different in a lot of ways than not.
  6. Being invaded in mainland US is a lot different than China attacking one of our overseas bases. Ukraine was attacked/invaded, which is very different than if one of their hypothetical far away overseas bases were attacked. I appreciate your post, but it’s not even close to the same thing. Hence why we don’t invade Iran when it directly/indirectly attacks one of our bases in Iraq. I am quite confident I’ll never live to see China physically attacking us anywhere in the US, and likewise I’m confident I’ll never see combat troops in mainland China.
  7. The culture of the US is ever changing, especially in the last 20-30 years…I don’t think it’s for the overall better when it’s all said and done, but it’s changing none the less. Likewise, this will affect how the US responds and how successful it would be against such attack. When is the last time that the US was attacked? 9-11…and it’s not like it took a lot of new ingenuity/innovation to defeat the Taliban and go after terrorist camps. And last I checked, the Taliban is still in control, trillions of dollars later. The time before then…WW2, and we’re not even close to the same America as we were back then. China could attack an American base, and I don’t believe I would see an American combat troop in mainland China because no one wants to see that for the reasons already listed above.
  8. Does anyone actually believe there won’t be cuts to the military in the next 1-2 years?
  9. Biden won while losing all 3 of those states.
  10. Haha nope! In 2016, 2018, and 2020, Larry Sabato (who I still kind of follow) got all his statewide races for his GOP favorites right, but when he was wrong, it was when he picked a Dem over a GOP. He had 51 for the GOP and 237 for the House. I figured based on what he gets right vs wrong, the GOP would fair slightly better than his prediction. But it turns out this time, he overestimated the GOP.
  11. My final prediction: GOP: 52 Senate seats, 241 seats in the House (that might be a little high). For competitive Gov races, GOP wins KS, WI, NV, and AZ. They “might” win OR, but I’d say no. I think NY will be close, but GOP won’t win. Assuming my predictions are correct, when will Biden/left say that democracy is over? Since that’s what they told us if the Dems lose.
  12. This is why no one honestly believes that Biden wants to bring down the price of gas/energy… "No more drilling," Biden said. "There is no more drilling. I haven’t formed any new drilling." https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/biden-declares-drilling-during-last-minute-rally-democratic-gov-kathy-hochul
  13. Oh it was great hearing the Q&A and him going off script. He basically said they’re nowhere close to stopping the rate hikes.
  14. Powell also said that inflation is the same today as is was last year at this time, and to also expect more rate increases in the future.
  15. How exactly do you suggest conservatives save the country? I’m referring to actual policy…not “have a dialogue” with the other side.
  16. When did this “dude from the right” stop being a supporter of the Green Party (hardly a right wing organization) and become a member of the right wing? Was it before or after he became a nudist in the Bay Area and a hemp jewelry maker? Doesn’t really sound like a hard “right wing” conservative militia type to me. “Listed years ago in voting records as a Green party supporter, DePape said he also took to the streets with activists who opposed a successful push to ban public nudity in San Francisco, the Chronicle also reported.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/oct/28/paul-pelosi-nancy-pelosi-attack-david-depape?fbclid=IwAR2A4USEQJm6RWCNU3DXdkedzmvofF39O_HZ-x7BGrI-kGMIe2gqjYaG8sE&fs=e&s=cl
  17. Well, the left thinks diesel fuel is bad, so they must think this is a good thing.
  18. Is that a remotely piloted aircraft? Asking for a friend.
  19. Seriously now…these aren’t just gaffes. I truly think he doesn’t know what he is doing. My only question is how much worse does he get in the next 2+ years? ‘I Got It Passed by a Vote or Two’: Biden Falsely Claims Student-Debt ‘Forgiveness’ Passed Congress https://www.nationalreview.com/news/i-got-it-passed-by-a-vote-or-two-biden-falsely-claims-student-debt-forgiveness-passed-congress/?fbclid=IwAR0PcL_JLkZ4EMMbxR1lSpOUjxiM4uGyfgEQyZPXIfMAejc4pckVzv2RBGY
  20. Not surprising when you know that the US government spies/steals info from its own citizens.
  21. A left wing guy making fun of a Republican…never seen that before!
  22. Not sure what your guys’ predictions are for the election in 2 weeks, but the betting sites over the last 1-2 weeks have the GOP winning the Senate. I’m still not quite sure but this is where people are putting their money. Thoughts? https://www.predictit.org
  23. Brother, I always (well, 99.9% of the time lol) appreciate your insight and info.
