Can't say that there has 'never' been, but I'm not aware of one in 15+ years. The vast majority of Army pilots are warrant officers, and though I'm sure the AF 'could' make it happen, you're probably not going to see a WO flying AF aircraft. And bringing over a young Army Captain to fly the line in the AF would screw their career. Just my $.02

Unfortunately I'm willing to bet that you will not. The problem I see with this bill is thst there is not definitive verbiage that states that supressors are removed from the NFA list. So it will allow Trump to order his ATF and federal law enforcement agencies to not treat supressors as an NFA item, however, the next Dem in office can just reverse the order.

Currently in AETC the Wing Commander ultimately decides who gets non-vol'd on a 6-mos deployment. Before then, rated guys at AETC staff were doing this as an additional duty. Just an example where a 'personnelist' is not making those calls...

Ok...now I realize that Chang is a pilot with awesome trolling techniques. A personnelist (regardless of posistion in a wing) would never have the power/authority to "non-vol" a rated flyer to any deployment. This would have to go through the OG and ultimately be cleared by the wing commander. Well played, Chang, well played...

Yeah...never going to happen. The military is a reflection of our culture/society, and in a country where now everyone gets to play a victim, have safe spaces, be offended at everything and anything, etc...the military is just following suit.

Wait, you're suggesting it's not a military fixed wing program, yet you don't know how long the training is, what it encompasses, etc? And yes, it's definitely longer than one month. I assume you're thinking of the program to train AF pilots for C-12 air attaché positions.
