  1. Above post... words. TLDR We've got 0-4s Transition of 5k Unlimited, clear of clouds.

  7. https://twitter.com/jwsthomson/status/1028134044502908929?s=21 some audio and and transcripts of pilot.
  8. Developing, but sounds like someone ( mechanic?) stole a plane from Sea Tac airport. Took off. Got intercepted. Did a barrell roll. Crashed. Horizon Q-400 These attachments show Sheriff airplane circling crash
  9. Kadena saying pilot ejected and has been safely recovered. https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-air-force/2018/06/11/kadena-air-base-f-15-crashes-off-okinawa/
  10. In my experience, yes there is a notable difference. In my research, USAA asked something along the lines of "Do you fly often?" If so, their rates went up quite a bit. AAFMAA didn't have a flying occupation penalty, and specifically noted that they cover people who fly for a living.
  11. SEOUL, South Korea — Search crews recovered the body of one of two pilots of a South Korean fighter jet that slammed into a mountain Thursday while flying home from a mission. https://www.stripes.com/news/pacific/s-korean-f-15-crashes-body-of-pilot-recovered-search-for-co-pilot-to-continue-1.520517 Fly safe - this spike of incidents is troubling.
  12. When you get your training paperwork, there will be a list of thing to accomplish before reporting. Do those. If submitting security paperwork clearance is required, that will be on the list with specifics possibly in an attachment. When you report to training, you'll have more to-do lists. Again, do those. If doing security paperwork is a requirement, it will be on there.
  13. Early information looks like collision and both pilots in hospital. SC Guard jets. Crashes look like they were in Bulldog MOA. https://www.wrdw.com/content/news/search-underway-for-second-pilot-in-two-plane-collision-in-Louisville-382180851.html Nice work again, AFE!

  16. I got you, I'm thinking COCOM/CC = commander of Central Command, European Command, Strategic Command, etc. vs the commander of Air Components.
  17. What's that based on? Haven't we had numerous CSAFs without having been COCOM/CC?
  18. I'm a fan of NOT combining insurance and investing. If life insurance is something you're interested in, I strongly recommend considering term life insurance. AAFMAA offers great rates and no aviation "penalty fees."
  19. I feel an awakening in my pants.
  20. That sounds miserable.

  24. That'd be ok with me, but being a bunch of rapists and all, it'd just be a matter of time before... And oh... Beep Boop
