  1. Paternal grandfather - WW II swabbie Maternal grandfather - WW II swabbie Father - KC-135/PIT instructor, now Fed-Ex Step-father - KC-135 driver Paternal Uncle - F-111 Wife's grandfather - WW II pilot, forgot what plane Father-in-law - PIT instructor/C-141/C-9/C-17 Me - H1 drivin' bubba I honestly don't know how to go about finding employment in the real world. When I told my old man that I wanted to be a pilot when I grew up, he always said "Son, you can only do one or the other."
  2. Ya know, cool maneuvers in the sim are a lot like getting it on with your sister: It may be fun and make you feel good, but you shouldn't go on bragging about it.
  3. Young Hadjis in France tremble at the might of the French police machine. Seems to me their uber-surveillance has missed the fact that a statistically significant portion of their population is Hadj, jobless, and hates their adopted nation. I could have saved them millions of bucks, or whatever it is they spend.
  4. From my first-ever sim at Corpus with the legend, Hank Hall: "GAWD DAMMIT! You boys are f#ckin LOSERS!!! I am gonna call the skipper and tell him he has a couple of $hitbags on his hands!" Just to bookend my Corpus sim experience, my last sim was with him and in the debrief he sighs and puts his feet up on the desk and his hands behind his head: "I'll tell you something boys, I'm tired and I need to get me a new job. I want the kind of job where I just eat Shakira's pu$$y all day." I still can't believe he hasn't been fired or put in jail for some of the things he says. I love it!!
  5. Med down is the Navy's version of being DNIF. The only difference is, instead of being logged into the computer once like at a UPT base and being put as DNIF in TIMS, you have to go to 4 DIFFERENT OFFICES around base to drop off Med down and med up chits. Speaking of Navy a$$-grabbery.....
