2. I'm sure there is more to the story. This reeks of a political set-up to change DADT. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that this guy couldn't be "shelfed" for 2 more years to get his 20. He sounds like a good guy and a competent aviator. I would hate to see a life of service flushed because he likes dudes. Apparently, before someone either asked or he told, no one knew or it wasn't a problem. Well, he could always join the Navy...(rimshot) I keed, I keed...(not really) I've noticed you reference erections a few times in your recent posts- please don't tell, and we won't ask. And a dude with a hard-on can stand right next to you and fight, that's fine.

How did he violate DADT? Doesn't sound like he "told" anyone.

You should have lied.

The C-130J is RVSM certified, we're just slow up there and screw up the flow.

Maybe the lack of other liberal "credible" news sources covering the story is due to the fact that Biden being an idiot is hardly newsworthy.

25 minutes from door to door from Macon. I'm about the only one in my office that lives in Macon.

Pretty funny that the near mid-air was with a Pred.

I'm not debating ethnicity. No we aren't past it. I really think this is a non-event. It's great for the cadets and school but why is this a big deal that Obama is doing it? Didn't other presidents do it? Wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't do it?

Picture on Enwei here- I'd say middle eastern isn't far enough east. Obama giving Military Oath to a asian chick.

At least it's realistic. She started crying and she's a stripper.

Pretty good letter (could be fake) from a former Navy pilot to Obama in regards to getting water boarded in SERE school. He's calling for an investigation of the admistrations involved. Yes, I got this in an email and no, I have no way of knowing if it's a real letter. I have my doubts because I've never met a Naval Avaitor that called themselves a pilot. Navy_Pilot.pdf

Legal- Questionable- Yep...sorry, but the PG-13 vs R-rated distinction should've made it pretty clear!

Air Force O'clubs have sucked since I've been around. However, the Navy was still doing it right down in Corpus when I was there in 98. I stumbled out of there and slept in the bushes on more than one occassion. They also opened the gates to the local talent, so there was usually some women looking for a pilot to take them out of TX. I lived a short Par 3 from there, good times. Since the basement of Maxwell was brought up, here's my story- Ended up at maxwell from a WX divert from dobbins. Crappy day, so took the crew to the club and started drinking before we even went to billeting. There were a ton of 2Lts (JAG students) playing crud in the corner. One of the students came to our table and said, "Hey, we've got some O-6s playing crud and we feel a lot better if someone in a bag would ref." My response, "We don't understand your lawyer games." She went on and on about how it was a pilot game, we said we've never heard of it, etc. She finally left us to our beer. I went to the bar to buy the next round and I see a bird col's hat on the bar. No shit. So I hand the hat to the bartender and order a round on the col. I tell the bartender to give our regards to the col. 5 minutes later, a red-faced JAG col is steaming towards our table. I thank him for our drinks, we toast his generosity, and he starts accusing me of stealing his hat and placing on the bar. I laugh it off, thank him again, but he will not let it go. He is really pissed. I said, "sir, first of all I didn't steal your hat, ask the bartender, secondly, anything else out of your mouth will be quibbling and we'll take another round. I could see the vains in his forehead. He stormed off to his lawyer minions. We're finishing up our last round, heading to billeting and here comes the col with a tray of shots. He said, "well, you got me so, here you go, this is the cheapest tequila they got, cheers." I said, "sorry col, we're in our window, and we walked out." I think he about lost it but we didn't stick around. Crazy JAGS.

That's a sweet bike, but you'd play hell with those tires in this mud. Slicker than owl shit on a door knob.

Here's my go slow motorcycle on what used to be a trail yesterday evening. It seems the river is slightly swollen. Let's see your crotch rockets go here.

Crank the heat, and you can occasionally feel a hint of warmth on your feet. Here’s a picture of mine on the way to get muddy.

The wife drives an 07 Sienna. It is tough to look cool in a minivan. I drive the old family grocery getter- 02 Chevy Tahoe. I kept the 'Hoe because it can pull my other toys- my ’86 Jeep CJ-7 (the last of the real Jeeps), my Yamaha XT 350 and my boat. I thought about buying a sports car, but the old Jeep is more my speed (and cheaper).

The guy sounds unstable to me.

I'll bet there are multiple lawsuits in the works now. What's the over/under on the first one filed? -
Nothing out of the normal operating temps.

I think the Q-3 talk was about the total lack of SA, coupled with the high speed abort. It was a crappy decision to abort for a light that has/was always been illuminated and shows a total lack of airmanship. In the J, you can go or stop- because of its awesomeness.
