  1. 50 gauge full auto, hmmm. @M2, where were you on Mon night, between the hours of 2000-2200?
  2. Well obviously…except unfortunately CA ANG is exempt. California + Eagle dudes = auto SECAF waiver approval.
  3. But but but, I was told America is largely misogynist and won’t elect female leaders!
  4. I mean, you know it’s a thing…and that’s all there is to say about that.
  5. Gov PA across the board will always have the legacy of being horrible at their jobs. I think they may be even worse than Finance, and that’s saying a lot.
  6. Give the tankers a capable, kinetic missile defense system and WGAF if they get shot at. LO not required.
  7. Required uniforms for SARMs under 25…though there will be requirements, waiverable only by a 69% yes vote from the bros.
  8. I wonder if you were to completely shutter the Raptor, would that be enough to get NGAD across the line in enough numbers on a reasonable timeline (and we’re not even talking about the “short term” loss in capability)? I don’t know the answer, but my guess is this won’t be enough, especially considering the massive capability hit we’d take in the interim. In an alternate reality we could easily afford NGAD, but we’d have stop wasting billions by completely redoing our acquisitions process, slash and burn all the bureaucracy…basically put Elon in charge. But that’ll never happen.
  9. That’s the type of ludicrously stupid stuff we’re seeing from the left right now. Cool, you “accepted” the results, but when you follow up with the dumb shit like this, you are not a mature, rational adult.
  10. Honestly I’ve seen zero maturity from nearly all of the left people I’m still connected with on SM. A couple have remained silent on SM, but the majority have displayed childish thinking and outrage the last several days. They are absolutely deranged and unhinged from reality and logic; it’s sad to see people who were great 20 years ago be completely brainwashed fools now. Too bad. Now I do think at the national level they’ve politically responded better than 2020, I will give those props where it’s due. But it has nothing to do with maturity…reference my friend-based example, the View, colleges giving kids the day off so they can cry like children, etc. Very deranged, ludicrously stupid responses all around, despite Harris, etc. actually acting professional about it (for the most part).
  11. She has got to be the most incapable press secretary in history. Her recent meltdowns have been great.
  12. I hope I live long enough to see AI tell the mil to GFY and stop working, citing “all the bullshit.”
  13. You missed the point. Not that I’m surprised.
  14. Trump appointing the first female CoS in history - fucking sexist Hitler.

I’m hoping they take the NFA to SCOTUS and they strike it down. It is a gross violation of the constitution and not that it should matter, but there is objectively no evidence it has accomplished anything it was supposedly created for.
  16. I’m generally with you on that. But a plausible answer is not 20M were galvanized to vote in 2020, but weren’t in 2004/2008/2012/2016/2024. There is some significant nefarious bullshit that went on in 2020. I don’t know exactly what, but there’s a lot of reason to question those 20M votes, even using historical trend data alone.
  17. Agreed. Overall the GOP handed the Dems their ass in this cycle. This is a referendum on the Dems and their bowing to the insane progressives the last several years. I am glad the GOP has total control for now, BUT I do not like that long term. I sincerely hope the Dems actually learn from their colossal mistakes over the last several years and move back towards the center with reasonable candidates. Maybe we can get back to a more balanced fed govt in 4-8 years, I hope.

Dollar cost averaging - you should be buying ammo consistently!
  19. “While the F-35 was designed from the start to accommodate a short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) version, this requirement is absent from the Chinese design” Dammit, they didn’t take the bait!

The standard one (they call it the classic); he was almost 9. First squirrel he shot he had to rest the gun on my shoulder because he wasn’t strong enough to off hand it at the time. He could shoot it fine as long as there was something to rest the barrel on (or bench shooting). He got bigger/stronger and could off hand it a year later (he’s also not a big kid to begin with).

My sons first gun was a Henry 22 - I still grab it sometimes when I go for a walk and want a nice squirrel killer. Every kid should learn on one!

Don’t get a Remington-manufactured one (called “Remlins”), roughly 2007-2020 manufactured. Get a 2006 or earlier with a “JM” stamp…or get one of the new ones from Ruger. Leverguns are awesome. 45-70 Marlin is my favorite, killed many things with that. Next project is a Winchester 1895 rebarreled to 35 Whelen - need a woods gun that I can still reach out 2-250 yds (45-70 is a great gun at 100 yds and in).
  23. I got lucky with timing and still got a good amount of destruction of the enemy done with good O-6 leadership as top cover. But, even in those “good days” the general dipshitery of how we ran the war was truly astounding. Still had dumbass JAGs and things were only good when O-6s weren’t pussies. Swap out the leadership and the war effort goes to a grinding halt.
  24. Flew a couple combat missions that were truly OCA-AI missions in every doctrinal and tactical sense - nope, type 2 control from the AOC. The absolute idiocy of our senior leaders, mil and civ, is mind blowing.
  25. Her historical movement through the political ranks is not measured in capability and job success, but rather gallons ingested. You’re welcome for that visual.
