The Air Force is once again showing disdain for their hardest working, highest performing people…that have the most options on the outside.

Appreciate the info! For better or worse, I’m locked into an ADSC until about that point…so I’m trying to figure out my options within those constraints.

Looking for feedback on my gameplan/confirmation of my assumptions. I would love to serve 15.5ish years active duty, then join a guard or reserve unit where I can do an extended period of AGR or equivalent. Once hired, get a line number/finish probation, then drop 5 years of USERRA-protected orders. I’m hoping this would give me an immediate active duty retirement (at 43 or so) and some seniority. Has anyone done this? Is my assumption of “immediate active duty retirement” correct assuming I get the 73xx points? Thanks for the help and info!

I know exactly what my service entails. America is bigger than a president, political party, or vaccine. Some people participate and actively work hard to make the military and their country better. Other people quit, have a victim complex, and cry about it from the sidelines.
