  1. Even Man vs. Food isn't perfect. Glorious satisfaction obtained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZaJExdcJZw.
  2. Now that's what I'm talking about! Great eats round' the Rock.
  3. We tried that, except he couldn't survive outside nor wanted to be outside ever. The cat fought to get back inside. Then when inside scratched up some people a couple of times. It was de-claw or put-down because giving away the cat wasn't an option. BTW - it it makes you feel any better it was only the front claws. Right up your alley
  4. Whilst reading the new AFI 36-29-oh.shenanigans. I discovered perhaps this little gem.... 8.5.1.1. Configure Velcro on the Flight Jacket like the FDU/DFDU Which means the pen/pencil pocket should have velcro and doesn't. Stick with me here...and the no morale are authorized in the subsection covering the flight suit pen/pencil pocket(8.3 FDU/DFDU) but flight jackets are in section 8.4... ...and since it says, "If the pen and pencil pocket cover is removed, a morale patch is not authorized on the remaining Velcro." Which the pocket cover wasn't removed but velcro must be added to match the FDU. I submit to you Morale patches authorized on flight jackets (and ignoring the original intention of no moral patches).
  5. We took our cat to the Vet down the road from Boyd's. Animal Hospital I think, the one by Sonic Drive-in. They did a god job de-clawing our cat. The place smelled like old animal pee when we picked up our cat.
  6. Ohh, can't go wrong w/ cats on your shirt. Nice art kid.
  7. Wow...he's dedicated.
  8. I know of a few CP's landings that felt like this...

Dammit, answer the man! (My team #6).
  10. Insert funny caption here...kind of like AF Times but don't hold back. Best caption wins by popular vote.
  11. Kozel Svetly - from Ukraine hotel room mini-fridge because two weddings are taking up the hotel bar (anyone speak Russian or Ukrainian?) and it's the only thing open within a 1 mile walk. Flavor: 6 of 10 Novelty: 9 of 10 Price: 10 doofers ($1.25)
  12. You mean there is a process to reverse the process?!
  13. Are your arms disproportionately longer than the rest of your body? Never seen a flight suit short-sleeves-only option...did see a thigh pocket zipper sewn on inside-out.
  14. WestmalleTriple (a Belgium Trappist 9.75%) Exceptional, makes doing Master's homework so much better. The fact that Monk's brew it makes me smarter. edit: spelling correction necessary after three bottles...
  15. So SOS will "...stand down temporarily..." from September 11' until the course "...debuts early in 2012." But "...the revised course is completed and made available by June 2012." That means SOS (or perhaps only the NEW, IMPROVED SOS) won't be available from Oct 11' to May 12' in other words Eight months down is temporary? Oh BTW - this is one of the fights that Gen Welsh talked about...alphabet school being combined w/ Shoe flag into an absurd length b/c all they did was mash the curriculum's together. Air University said it was necessary to "incorporate" the necessary learning objectives. If I remember correctly we had a USAF aircraft vis-recce test at ASBC...wonder if it will transfer?
  16. "Blue chip" from AFIT given to you from a commissioning source...I don't know of many Pilots/Navs/ABM'ers who received a blue chip.
  17. You've certainly heard the gripes before... - SOS in-res & via correspondence = why is via-corr. req'd to be competitive for in-res? ACSC ditto Horribly timed "required" Master's degrees (during SOS, ACSC, MQT/AC/Element Ld/4 Ship/IP upgrade - mostly between the end of pilot training and Major's board to second school look) Master's degrees which are as useful as a duck fart Everyone required to get a Master's degree Excessive, lame ground jobs pinned on aircrew detracting from sweet flying skills/knowledge (much like bowstaff skills*...) Family forgotten in the mix OPRs need to be re-caged to performance *or sweet sword skills like the Asian guy about to cut Conan (edit: forgot about the 707's)
  18. Gen Welsh told me last week himself that he intends upon meeting with the flying squadrons around USAFE. After speaking with him and Gen Gorenc for about 20 minutes about the necessary fixes the senior CGO and FGO corps need to manage the force and conduct the mission I really respect their leadership, effort, and candidness. It was unbelievable that they were in our C-130J that long. They have tough decisions to make that affect the way our Officer Corps conduct business, rankings, and promotions and they need information to carry out those changes.
  19. Wish I took a picture of the winglet stuck in the building that the plane hit. There is always tomorrow... The parking plan is horrendous and towing ops are crazy. Huge planes everywhere, planes taxiing through the crowds - it's nuts.
  20. Paris est beau cette époque...except it's raining today. Monsieur Swizzle

Utility costs actually incurred (does not include any installation and hook-up charges), e.g., electricity, natural gas, water, fuel oil, sewer charges;
  22. -Rent reimbursable = yes -Rent to own on TDY = no -Buy a house and get reimbursed the principal part of the payment = no -Buy a house and get reimbursed the interest expense = yes But there's always renting out your newly purchased place to your classmates...
